Hello, yes both heel and toe leads are ok. We tell beginner to start with heel leads just bc it is easier to roll through the foot than with a toe lead.

That should have been “heel” lead or “toe” lead (vessel was an auto correct)
Both are 'Correct', your choice. I have always been a toe lead type.
Toe is sometimes seen as 'feminine', but ymmv, and there's no wrong way to do it so long as your strike is on time and your roll is good.
Both. Most of the time I think walks are heel leads. Triples are always toe lead
