As a matter of fact, I was considering blind buying Dear Polly body spray (which is on sale and - ofc - currently out of stock). It revolves around black tea a lot, and incense (they say), don’t know if it would be a go-to, but it’s just a body spray after all, so why not (I love perfumed products, anyway)? If you know Dear Polly, how do you like it? Is it a too masculine of a “unisex scent” - lol (my biggest concern, ‘cause I don’t like manly fragrances on me that much hahahahaha)? I have a sample of Poets of Berlin. I just get the Vetyr, Fougere kind of smell...whatever the opening is, it lasts a second. There is no dimension or layering in it. It smells like a Faberge fragrance from back in the day that was rather inexpensive. I was very underwhelmed. Their other fragrances do give more. Purple Fig is nice. You have to sample them.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I will try Purple Fig. That is one I haven't yet encountered. What was the lasting power of that one? That was my biggest disappointment was the longevity. But honestly, the majority of my most favorite fragrances have a pathetic lasting power.
@@KatherineColeTipsandTools not much of a lasting power either. My favorite Versace Crystal Noir Parfum has great lasting power. None of the perfumes of today seem to be like the ones in my mother's time. She wore the designer French ones and they held their fragrances. I think all the synthetics they use now don't have lasting power.
@@jetaboveclouds SO true and very well could be! For the price stickers on some, they should last at least 8 hours! Longest ones I’ve tried of late: Tiziana Terenzi, Parfums de Marly, Clive Christian, Initio… some more but those are strongest and longest lasting as of late.
I don't think I've sampled anything from this house, Katherine, maybe one? I certainly will give them a sample see. Looking at Francesca Bianchi's Sex and the Sea Neroli. Also Under the Lemon Tree & Pacific Lime. Have a great weekend ahead.

This fragrance has been giving me the side eye as of late, which means I may have to sample this stuff. Thanks for the mythology lesson as well.
