Twisted Lily is the worst site to buy fragrances on. They will scam you and then try to make you jump through months worth of hoops just to get a refund.

I just got Dear Polly today and yes, I agree with you, it IS love at first scent! Wow! 🤩 the only sad thing is that it lasts 2-4 hours on my skin 😭

I blind bought too because it was going out of production and her descriptions drive me to make reckless decisions. I like it, but it is spicier and stronger than what I normally go for… it has character for sure!

Yes! So happy you loved Dear Polly- that was my top pick as well. I was very shocked, in the opening I thought it was raspberry (definitely something juicy). Then that tea 🫖🤤 so good. I do think this one is for a cool girl for some reason which has stopped me from getting a full bottle. I’m not that cool 😂 but it definitely suits you. I definitely picked up different mangos in Mango Skin as well as that civet- which once again stopped me from getting a bottle. Poets of Berlin would be my bottle if it weren’t for the 3 mins of agony in the opening 😩 so glad you didn’t get it on your skin. Good luck to all the entries for Note Vanille 📜🖋. It is honestly one of the most beautiful vanillas. And congrats to you beautiful on your partnership 👌🏼

Poets of Berlin was a like turned to a love! Mango skin is growing on me!
I'm tempted to blind buy The Poets of Berlin after hearing you, The Perfume Guy, and Demi Rawling talk about it. The Perfume Guy said that it gets sweeter in the heat while you recommend it for the fall and early spring makes me think that it can be worn year round.
Poets of Berlin sounds so nice and unique. I have to try it. I’m also with you on gardenia, I just can’t handle it at all.

I’ve been so intrigued by this brand. I have a sample set but it didn’t have Moon Carnival which I was looking for BUT I, so impressed by how these fragrances transform on my skin! - even those with notes I don’t prefer. Thank you for sharing that Twisted Lily sells samples…😍. I agree Dear Polly is beautiful and Mango Skin is quite sexy on my skin. Needless to say Vilhelm has my full attention. Great review

I’m super late to this but I just found your channel and am binging your videos which I recover from my Covid booster. A while back I was looking for samples on Twisted Lily and tried Do Not Disturb on a whim - so the notes listed on Fragrantica do not match what is listed on the Vilhelm or Twisted Lily sites! I don’t know what’s up with that or what is correct. All I know is, this fragrance is unique and addicting. It’s not overly sweet for me. I definitely want a 50ml and more samples from the brand.
This was an excellent review. You could really tell the time that you spent with the samples and providing us with valuable descriptions. I would also love to experience Note Vanillee. I’m sure if you love it, I will too!!

I will say opus Kore is for shampoo lovers. A lilac a day I think is like no joke LILAC. Purple fig have not made up my mind. Basilico and felini is for basil lover maybe a shef? Any tips for my next smell within this house please🙏😇?

I'd definitely recommend sampling! It's a nice one, but on my skin I do pick up a smidge of that in the background, other people don't, so it depends!
Maybe I should have spent more time with Poets of Berlin...it wasn't a love at first sniff either and.....I got impatient and decluttered the large bottle. Whoops. :) LOL

Great review! I got Mango Skin- on me I don’t get the over ripe mango and I love it. It last a long time too. I really want to try Moon Carnival so bad. How is the projection, longevity and silage?
Awe I’m jealous! 😝 Moon Carnival is good! It’s not “beast mode” but it also performs better than “moderate,” I think you’ll be happy with it! I find it performs better than Mango Skin too
