This is definitely the hardest run on my list so far! This game had an arcade origin, and as such was full of rude traps to separate you from your quarters. Chapters/timestamps are in the video description. These videos require a lot of time and effort to make! If you'd be willing to see similar content in the future, please consider subscribing!

the bass line in this is VERY Clear. I get that people talk about the Genesis having great sound alot (i personally love it) but over the Studio Speakers this is WAY more clear.

Holy crap. I had this game as a kid and found it to be freaking impossible and incredibly frustrating. And you, you made it look easy! Tons of practice and memorization involved, and it shows. Well done! This was an absolute treat to watch!

I had it as a kid as well (And later on steam) And just never let it go. I'm not sure why; it isn't very good. I think I just always loved the super tough titles when I was young. You're right, though. While 'practice and memorization' are the key to so many retro action-y titles, it really shows here.

@@FuzzyMcNutz I think there's just something charming about this game. The art style is fascinating and the music is superb.
By the way, I appreciate your profile pic from one of the Super Mario World "beat the castle" cutscenes, haha. Memory lane

@@Bandrik I really was letting my own video play in the background just now to hear the audio. Btw, I'm recording content for the first time in over a year and uploading more very soon. I've been playing these retro games so much more heavily over the last year and a half without recording anything, so I'm now super practiced on a bunch more titles!
This pic is my favorite for sure! Glad you appreciated it. I only spent like 5 mins pondering what I wanted before I settled on this.

@@FuzzyMcNutz Happy to hear it! And there's a lot of great retro and speedrunning communities out there if you wanted to get involved with others. And if just doing your own thing is more your style, that's cool too! Happy gaming!

I don't know why I can love such an awful game so much.

Worst thing about this game was the weakness of Jim’s gun and how fast the enemies move. I consider this the hardest game for me to play.

Intro stage reminds me of Ranma 1/2 song where it's like a bit sad
Also this game has some very fluid feel to it. I'm not sure if it's 60 fps because of yt or if it's like that by itself

Yep. Developer was French as such they struggled to translate the ending text. This is why the text reads awkwardly.

that ending was terrible..."jim is leaving the virtual world and going to his vacation island" lol

Slightly disappointing ending, considering what they put you through to get there.
