Very good painting tutorial! Thank you, Sue Dent and Graeme Stevenson. I noticed that the artist didn’t use any water with the paint. Does she never use it? It would be good to know. Thank you.

Rut Vigo Hi , yes she is amazing. We will have many more great Artists over time, so I hope you enjoy them all, dont forget to tell other folks about us. This only helps us to keep all of this going for everyone out there, hope all is well, Graeme
She doesn't seem to have an issue with fast drying times with normal acrylics. I don't think she is using Golden Open Acrylics which have a slow drying time. I would definitely love to know her method in painting with acrylics with regard to its fast drying time. How does she do it? She probably just paints fast! Like I had to do before the mixed colours on the palette dries up! LOL
The reason you would want to "buy every color" is for consistency. You can be lazy. You can also paint in the dark, lol...as I usually do. Of course you need to know how to mix but that's a given.
I related very much to this artist, Sue Dent, when she was explaining how she first got into art. I noticed many of the watercolour painters on his programmes have their paper taped to a board. What board do they normally use? Was the paper made wet and then taped to the board to stretch or it was not soaked? I have some artists telling me it is no longer really necessary to wet and stretch paper of 140lb/300gm. And yet I see all watercolour artists having paper taped onto a board. Can someone enlighten me on this? Because if the paper has to be made wet, then I need to find a board that can take the water. I really find this paper stretching business bit of a turn-off. I didn't need to do this with acrylics. Once again, great programme and great interview. P.S. What was that guitar music at frame: 21:18? It gave me the shivers - that means it moved me.
Thank you to both of you. There is so much positive vibration in Sue and her work.
