I would like to say that shorter towers are generally more enjoyed by the community, its just that they are more forgettable than long ones, short towers generally are more liked beacuse it feels good scaling the floors pretty quickly and also the fact that you lose less progress when falling from a tower that's short, the main problem with short towers, however, is the emptiness, this can be very easily avoided by one of two options: gameplay based around one or more huge structures covering the whole length of the tower, most, atleast, or fog. A good example of this is ToBK without the finał stretch, the big structure makes it do that its basically safety net heaven, however beacuse theres so much partial unintentional safety nets a one thing that's very important is to add gameplay that's far away from the structure which act as punishing 'outside' sections. With this short towers can become very fun yet still not incredibly punishing. Highly reccomend making shorter towers as your first tower so before you end up not having any motivation you are already at like floor 8 so you have a bit extra motivation to finish it.
@@JacobGamer Maybe the tower could be less stressful with lots of safety nets but still be challenging, like CoHaD. Pretty sure all the good qualities of CoHaD are what makes long towers good.
I don't like safety net heaven towers as they just make the tower have an excuse for harder gameplay (ToHK) or just make it more boring to go through repeating the same part over and over again cuz a net like ToAF and ToHL
how do you decide on how to color your tower? its always been a struggle to make tower colors look right. almost every tower i make has good design and gp but the only thing that ruins the experience is the colors.
It’s up to you tbh. If you are going for a specific theme, then colour the frame base on the theme, like winter theme for light blue frame ,and white frame. but if there no theme, just try your best to make the design and frame look good together, there’s alot of colours to choose from!
If its a certain theme then its really easy to color, i get that, but its extremely hard to come up with colors with 0 themes. I have no idea how other people make colors. I just really want a tip in the end of the day.
Maybe make gradients for the frames or if you dont like gradients, you can follow the random colours frame like ToCF and ToRER or ToFD too. Also, easier towers is nicer with brighter colour for frames and towers like SC can be like slightly darker
It's up to you! But it can be a difficulty spike tho, depending on how hard the wall hop is. Also I recommend only adding wallhops for harder difficulty towers
I’m probably late but how to weld falling platform to beginner spinner weld because when I end up welding it the falling platform then breaks which is not what I want !!!
Ok you try welding other cos first, like elevators, if it works for elevators then there is no double co value. But its just maybe that falling platform doesnt work for spinning objects. But before you try the above, Did you try to unanchor the falling platform as well as welding the platform to the middle of the spinner? As that is the basics of making spinning cos or parts
To be honest, you don’t really need any tips. Everyone will fail once on something and that’s completely fine, you WILL start somewhere and eventually make your way to become better at it.
in the kit there is a frame folder, and when you open it, you can select the parts of the frame, if you cannot find it, you can search in the explorer tab
I might make another one but not now at least. If your gameplay doesn’t look nice, try using some shapes and colours to make it look nicer. Or you can just use a lighting changer to make the entire tower nicer. Yeah, these are just a few tips from me um. You can always try to experiment other techniques to not make it look ugly
okay please help me im suffering from broken jtoh kit over and over. It kept getting broken after 4 days like evelators and convenyor dont work etc edit: clientobject boolvalue is the problem i think (it kept getting false not true if its false then it doesnt work then if true it works (i dont know HOW to make it always true but when i make the value true SOMETIMES it didnt get broke or it broke again)) im super mad at this kit its been a year always like this
Did you do anything to break it? Did you put the scripts correctly? it also sounds like double co value so you can install the JToH kit plugin to easily remove the problem
