My ex did the same thing to me that Amber did to JD.
She'd follow me around the house, screaming at me to talk to her, grabbing at me, pulling hair, ripping clothes, slapping, hitting, shoving, throwing things, and kicking her way through every one of our shitty doors until all the locks were broken.
I only ever hit her back once. She got between me and the front door when I finally tried to leave, and when she tried to take my keys out of my hand to hide them from me, I lost it and smacked her.
Damn near everyone took her side, except my mom.
I lost my job, my friends, my apartment, and I had to move back in with my family at the age of 30.
Watching Johnny get vindication gives ME vindication.

She recorded him in the kitchen that day & she's taunting him hoping to provoke him when he's destroyed by grief. I still can’t believe Amber literally just left the court room after the redirect. My jaw dropped. She absolutely knew the rules to follow and the etiquette of the court room, but she apparently didn’t give a sh*t! How disrespectful to the judge and jury. She was specifically told to go and sit next to her attorney and she just straight up dipped. That definitely did her no favors in the eyes of the judge and jury. I love Judge Penney but I wish she had admonished Amber for that blatantly inappropriate behavior. It’s funny AH called Johnny a baby on multiple occasions, yet she’s the one who storms out of the courtroom after things didn’t go her way. Embarrassing 😳

I don't want to generalize every victim of physical abuse but you would think in most cases if you are a victim of physical abuse in fear but still love the person and want to be with them you do everything you can to quell it and not provoke it. Yet in all the recordings it shows Amber provoking and JD wanting to quell it and/or run away. I can't imagine the jury not noticing this and would think his legal team will pound this in during closing arguments.
As well there may be some really devastating testimony against AH that has not been admitted yet and will be before this is done. This could all be his legal team setting up for the kill. We shall see. We all know there are devastating facts and testimony against AH that have not been admitted yet and that her witnesses are mostly friends or her sister. Very sketchy, living off JD and really witnessed nothing. Hearsay and speculation will be instructed to the jury to ignore.

Just wondering, it's a 7 member jury hearing the case, do all 7 have to agree with the outcome? 2 jurors could hijack the whole jury and force a compromise. 5 could be in favor of Depp with 2 staunchly on Heard's team, they could force a compromise like ruling in Amber's favor but not awarding her any money, they wouldn't be punishing Depp in that manner and getting it done and over with. HeII all Amber has to do with play to 1 specific juror to screw the whole thing up. Is a mis-trial a thing in civil cases?

Here's something funny about that audio no one is picking up on. You can only kick doors open, you can't kick them closed. If you're trying to keep someone out of a room you're using your entire body to keep the door closed, you'll never kick a door to close it. Such a simple answer that people aren't even considering because of the absurdity of it all.

If I was a jury member, I would be so bothered by the way she’s constantly looking at me. Like, don’t do that. Stop doing that. You answer to the lawyer that’s speaking you, the jury isn’t asking the questions, the jury just decides your fate, which makes it really cringe to answer to them instead of the person asking the questions, because the desperation is CLEAR every time she answers to a jury that’s just there to observe.

    • @raining_trees
      @raining_trees 2 ปีที่แล้ว +182

It's more common for experts to answer to the jury when explaining how things work in their field of expertise, which makes sense. The way she answers every single question to the jury is just weird. I personally think she's trying to gauge the jury's response to her, that's common for manipulators. Law and Lumber was in court irl and said that she targets a few jurors specifically and she never looks at the ones who obviously don't believe her.

@@raining_trees Ohhh!! Yeah I saw some body language commentary about how she’s checking in to see if the jury is buying it. I think it’s called “confirmation check”? With that mental disorder she really is dangling up on the stand.

I’ve been watching the trial everyday on a lawyer Emily Bakers channel and she knows a guy that’s in the courtroom. He said that the jury positioned their chairs toward Camille and most would not make eye contact with Amber. Seriously, most of their mistakes before today have been 1) they get caught on "leading" because they're trying to get her to tell the same story she told them during pre-trial, and 2) they get surprised by answers from other witnesses because AH had told them they'd get a different answer from that person under oath. Now she's trying to talk about "evidence" that was never admitted to trial in the first place. So my father was in a similar situation as Johnny with my mom during my childhood. I cannot begin to tell you how surreal it has been to watch this trial with him. We literally sit on the sofa, watch the trial, and when Amber says something contradictory we both look at each other, back to the tv and then start screaming like Boze lmao 😂
It has been so crazy watching my FATHER-the personification of toxic masculinity and machismo ass Mexican man-break down over how similar of a situation he experienced. Being that “machismo” he always felt like it was not manly of him to admit that he was abused but being able to see this badass icon go up there with so much courage and strength and say “yes, I am a man, and I am a victim of abuse” must be so overwhelming for men all over the world who have been in the same situation.

Speaking on the "need to be in control" part: being told by Camille that she's not allowed to speak before being asked questions MUUUST have been soooo urking to her. And the fact that she stared at JD for longer than a glance-- when she said "I can look at him" that was the strangest thing. No abuse victim ever wants to see hear or even breathe the same room as their abuser. It's too traumatic. No matter how long the time has been the simplest familar behavior smell or item anything really can trigger an involuntary response and transports you right back to the moment of trauma instantly. All I saw in her face when she stared at JD was pleasure, melancholy and disgust simultaneously.

My god I thought I was the only one. I genuinely thought that it was just a weird variant of the name I'd not heard of before, until I saw the written form. Though again, pronunciation doesn't seem to be her strong suit with the whole amica cream thing, and perpetuated, perpetrated.

"This is why we're laughing..." "...Sometimes, the only way that we can deal with truly evil people, like these immoral wicked people that will lie and cheat to protect their ego and get to the top is to LAUGH AT THEM. Because it's exactly what they fucking hate. The one way that you beat a narcissist is by humiliating them, period." -Ericka Bozeman, BOZE vs. the WORLD.
This is such a powerful thing to quote, and a message for me to remember.

12:59 the recording of Johnny and Amber is sad, the line “I accidentally I swear..” from Johnny reminds me of when I would accidentally hurt my abuser trying to get out of a fight and they would say the force was on purpose and essentially frame me to be a horrible person. The “I swear” is when someone who you know doesn’t want or chooses not to believe you and is normally said of of fear of repercussions for defending themselves. That broke me.

Yeah the recordings are very telling. Johnny is always stuttering and apologizing even when he's in the right he apologizes for something sounding very meek and afraid like he is walking on eggshells and has to pick his word wisely so as to not set Amber off even more, even going so fair as to concede the door hitting him as an accident. Meanwhile amber is very condescending and gaslights him every chance she gets brazenly mocking him and openly admitting to punching and hitting him.

Seeing Mr. Depp have to go through this whole trial while Amber drags it on and on and on is depressing. I just feel like reaching through my screen to hug him. I hope he’s got a really good therapist for all the shit she did to him…

If he is trying to close the door, that means she was trying to open it not close it so she could not have been trying to get away from him or else she would have let him shut the door because then a door is separating them , and therefore there is no way her punching him in the jaw was self defense

LITERALLY she claimed she has never and would never hurt Johnny even though they’ve heard SEVERAL audio recordings of her blatantly being abusive, along with several pictures of his face being injured. She’s disgusting.

8:16 Elaine interrupting in order to inform the court that she _doesn’t_ have an objection to a new piece of evidence being introduced was a really nice change of pace. Like a breath of fresh air.

boze, i dated someone like this in HS....we argued in a hallway where there where there no cams...she grabbed be by my shirt and started like shoving me in the wall...i got scared and my first instinct was to push her away from me...once i did that she started crying and ran to go get help and told everyone i beat her...and they believed her and about 8 people from her class came to try and beat me idk what she even told them....she ruined my hs life...i lost so many opportunities a and got sent to a school for violent people. everyone saw me as a monster basically.they never wanted my side...i lost a scholarship..its so horrible for me because school was everything... i can only imagine what johnny went through. although that was way back in my life and im older...i feel like it scared me for life. this boils my blood...it also makes me very sad for him.

the funny part is she said "I have never assaulted anyone that i was romantically involved with" and im pretty sure either earlier or later in the day a video is played of her LITTERALLY saying she was hitting JD. Punching, hitting, slapping, insulting, etc those are all within the definition of "assault"

@@Procrastination2787 her saying she never hit anyone she was romantically involved with lines up with the clip from the reality tv show where people are asking amber's sister about her getting beat up by amber, and the clip of amber's ex-assistant (babysitter) saying amber treated her sister like "the dog that you kick"

Even in my time in mock trial, the only reason someone would ask so many obviously leading questions is when they have a specific narrative (usually false). The lawyer doesn’t believe that their client can keep up the narrative or answer the question in a non-leading way because the story won’t hold up, so they desperately need a specific framework (a leading question) to keep the narrative together. I’ll be so happy when Johnny gets justice, Amber is horrifically abusive and a pathological liar.
