In regards to NDEs, some caution is warranted. It seems that in some cases, people have NDE experiences that match their religious beliefs or worldview. Christians see Christ, Muslims see Allah, atheists have visions with no deity, etc. There's a TH-cam channel that documents various people's NDEs, and a large number of them contradict each other. I also recall at the time I returned from my mission in 1991, the whole Church it seemed was a reading a book called "Embraced by the Light". The book highlighted a miraculous NDE of the author. The book turned out to be of dubious origin, and is mostly forgotten now.
Blood is also a focus when we take the sacrament. Certainly a REMINDER to us that this may be an essential part of what we experience here on earth...Christ's blood on earth and in the resurrection.
#FLOOD So a couple keeps ago, as I joined the missionaries on a lesson. The lesson was cancelled, so the missionaries and I went to one of my neighbors' houses, and I met with one of brothers friends. We gave a quick lesson that mostly consisted of our testimonies. I had offered him a Book of Mormon and a Come, Follow Me to go along with it. He denyed the BoM, but accepted this year's Come Follow Me. Recently, I asked him how he was going with the Come Follow Me, and he daid that he liked the lessons it taught. I asked him if he needed a BoM to follow along the lessons, and he told me that my brother had already given him a BoM in December when he came to visit. I'm not sure whether this counts as two BoM that are handed out, or just one. One us fine, but thats all I've got so far.

Blood is corruptible makes sense. When a body is prepped for funeral services, the blood is removed and replaced with formaldehyde, and that makes the body last til the funeral. The skin and all the tissues remain.

The Second Estate ends when we are resurrected and experience the final judgment. Until that occurs there will be the possibility of improving our state. We will still have the ability and need to make choices based on faith, and thus gain greater light. God will give us and our loved ones many opportunities to return to Him. His greatest desire is to have as many of His children find their way to Exaltation as is possible! And remember: the one who judges us (Christ) is the one who ADVOCATES or pleads for us, AND was the one who ALREADY willingly suffered our rightful punishment! He will apply that suffering to EVERY PERSON HE CAN!! If it’s at all possible to save someone, He WILL find the way! Nobody is as yet irretrievably lost! Not until the final judgement.

Blood is what makes us mortal. It is miraculous. But it is not the end state. It isn’t that there is anything wrong with it, it’s just that it is what is presence in mortality and when we move to immortality, we no longer need it. Of course this sounds very obvious, but I think it’s important not to view the word corruptible as meaning that there is something wrong with it . The more a person learns about blood the more amazing we realize it is.
Corruptible in the Bible means subject to decay, deterioration and death. It just means that it doesn’t last forever. It can be corrupted with bacteria, illness, and eventually death and that’s why we can’t live forever in our bodies. We have to be changed.

I wonder if Jesus shedding His blood during His Atonement in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross was also a way for Him to prepare to release His mortal state and arise as a resurrected being with all things anew, including what would then flow into His now immortal veins. ❤️

I am wondering for those that are Living the terrestrial law, wouldn’t there be a chance for progression in Still. There will be many that join the church and there are those here that are new members of the church that haven’t reached their full potential yet. So I think that in the millennium is maybe your last chance to gain a celestial body. I don’t have anything to back it up, but it kind of makes sense.
But I also think there might be many that need to be corrected in their beliefs, and that are good folks, but just don’t have the strong testimony. So I think that would be the Lord showing mercy to these folks, knowing that maybe they were strong in Valliant in the pre-life and got off the track a little bit but still try to be good people.
Each individual has up until they're resurrected. Of course, people that understand the Gospel will want to take care of all the ordinances and personal progression that they can while in mortality.
I heard when he was tarred and feathered that he actually died that night . He saw his body as he stood over it . But it was not his time to go yet . They left him for dead . This was in church history . I only heard it a few years ago .
For the joy of it. Eating fresh fruit, for example, is an enjoyment for me, I'm counting on being able to eat in the Millennium / resurrection. Wouldn't it be great if we didn't need to eat, but could do it for the enjoyment? I would hope we can still gather with family for good food in the Millennium / Resurrection.

Yes, mortality continues into the Millennium and only ends when the earth becomes celestialized at the end of the 1,000 years.
