This is so beautiful, I was researching images to make an elephant soapstone, and that artistic journey led me to artistic heaven. Your sculpt themselves are gorgeous, but getting to watch an artist in the process start to finish... where the only part we didn't get to see was it formed in your head? That was a wonderful experience. Thank you, and best wishes to you and your family
Love it! Peter, I admire the simplicity of your tools, made by you...I learned a lot from you. I hope I can purchase your sculpture, look for an email from me in your inbox. Now questions: what two part silicon you use. I think it is one of the Smooth-on, but I could not figure out which. Thank you!!!!
Hi Nel! Thanks for your kind words! I will answer your email soon. About silicone - in this particular video I am using to types of silicone - DDBINO 30A (blue one) and Smooth-On Smooth sil 945 (purple one). But I don't like them )) All Smooth-on silicones are very easy to tear. DDBINO is much harder to tear but it doesn't cure in thin layers. So I didnt find good silicone here in US yet.
@@ThePeterZaytsev Good to know, I will not try them then. I use MoldMax Stroke, but I find it pretty expensive. I think I am putting too thick layers and not doing the cuts in the correct places so it tears. In your videos you always have thin silicon. I am looking forward to your email and getting the sculpture
В этом видео я показываю два варианта отделки. Более темный это sealer или wet look varnish - его рецепт я показываю в видео - разюавленный ацетоном клей. В москве я использовал К85 для этих целей. Более светлый вариант - какой-то обычный лак по дереву.

Super 👍🤝👌🤝🤝🤝🤝
Lively
what is that two part mix
If you are talking about external hard shell it was made of Smooth on Free from Air. It is like epoxy putty.
А что за состав которым вы покрываете готовую фигуру ?
