7WD formula for how much something costs is a strategy in itself. Hoarding resources so that they cost more for the opponent is a strategy. LoR makes yellow cards obsolete.
My feeling on Architects is similar to Tom, that a lot of the most interesting stuff in the game ends up feeling not worth it. Black Market is largely ignored unless you need its boon right now, the negatives otherwise are too high. Capturing workers is an interesting concept, but I always feel like you want your opponents to be wasting time doing this, as the winner is normally the player that just beelines the end game and focuses on maximising efficiency doing so. Part of the problem is it's one of the few games where I feel it ends up feeling too short, the game ends so fast, so it doesn't feel like you have time to explore anything that isn't maximising your points. I also got the feeling that some of the characters are clearly better than others.
Mike - some of the strongest scores in Architects I’ve seen are from people who absolutely obliterate the black market. Easy resource, easy money, and then they pay next to no tax and collect 10-15 debt cards. Then halfway through the game they switch up, and use their acquired wealth to pay off all their debts and get a TON of points at the end

Really want to get Coloma, looks like a lot of fun. Almost backed the reprint campaign. But.. even though it's a reprint campaign, they STILL havn't started production(today is 01/30/25 and the campaign ended 05/07/24)
@ oh jeez. I didn’t even realize I got the year wrong. A year and half… and they havnt even started production… on a reprint campaign!!! Absolutely ridiculous. Glad I didn’t back… till I realized I backed a different Final Frontier game on KS(having simultaneous projects running on different crowdfunding sites shouldn’t be allowed)
Oof, unfortunate ending! Quite a lot on this batch of 10 that I've never played, so back to the no matching 10 again. 30. Smartphone Inc 29. Just One 28. Mansions of Madness 2nd Ed 27. Heat 26. Earth 25. Small World 24. Dice Miner 23. First Rat 22. Books of Time 21. Trekking Through History
Tom saying he doesnt know what Netrunner pack to buy? Does he forget the cycles were sets and were sold in $15 packs playset complete? What a weird thing comparison to make. You buy each pack to have all the new cards. Its the same way FFG sold Arkharm LCG packs.
1:11:00 the worst implementation of theme I've ever seen in a boardgame. Witch King: - What's the next step my lord? Sauron: - Let's buy Lorien and Helm's Deep 🤦🏻♂️
You should make a "Voice of the People" trophy for the person that has the most crossover with the people every year.
This is a great idea. Lol
Championship Belt .. if there's a tie they play Royal Rumble card game
there is everyone's 11-20 list at the end. yall have to fix it lol
Spoilers
You won't believe Tom's #11!
We already have, it just takes TH-cam a while to implement the changes. No peaking!
@@MillaCleg Just let us know how this is Joey's fault.
Following TDT since 2013 from Ecuador. Never stop doing what you do guys! 🎉
“Can we stop insulting the fanbase here?” Love it!

The marvel champions jokes had me dying 🤣 😂
Like any great athlete, Mike had to go back and watch tape from yesterday about his Dune performance.
Dune Imperium: Uprising is a cash grab.

"But how did that make you feel, Mike".
Better place for Blue Moon City than the one on Zee List.
I Love this lists
I love dune imperium & uprising
I own both and play both.
regarding the Dune logo, "ambigram" is the word you're looking for :)
I really wish Atlas Lost would get picked up. I had asked about a 2nd Kickstarter on BGG but no response. It seems so good!
some games I contributed to the placement on the people's choice : 7 wonders(3), Bloodrage(12), Pandemic(56) and Root(1 yes im one of those :P)

It ended 5/7/2023; incredibly frustrating lol

I'm with you! That shouldn't be possible. Hopefully, the wait will be worth it.

I just can’t get on board with how LOTR Duel has no card titles. Like I’m not that into being like “ok, I think I’m gonna take this…green man…”
I wanted to try Atlas Lost on the cruise....
Who’s putting up the summary lists in the end? The last video omitted Tom’s list and this video put the 20-11 episode list up.
If Mike is Italian, why does his song mispronounce "forte"?
Too soon on that Pandemic joke, Tom :D

What do you bet arcane wonders reprints obsession
_Please_ change Mike's theme song. It's horrible!
Shocked because Blood Rage is still popular? Rediculous.
