    I love that your hybrid gel is in a pot rather than a tube. I have found the tubes sometimes difficult to squeeze (depending on the brand), and there’s waste when you get to the end. So much is still inside the tube coating the sides that you can never get out. Plus, your product designs are elegant and beautiful.

    • @NailCareerEducation
      @NailCareerEducation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +50

      Ya I agree - I had a tough time squeezing the gel out. I’ve always loved pots for gel - I even like it for gel polish

      If you know you're using that last bit of a gel in a tube, just cut the tube open! Snip the back off and dig in with your spatula tool.

    • @mzchyn
      @mzchyn 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @Andi Martinez yep and if you don't use it all you can put it in zipock bag and keep it out of sunlight, it won't ever cure

      @@NailCareerEducation do challenge where you build the nail with random stuff like foil or non nail stickers. I tried it with normal nail polish and I let it cure fully, it lasted for 3minutes.

    I have a question and I have found multiple different answers online, so I wanted to ask the queen: when do you whipe off the upper layer? Because some primers, base coats and colors leave a little sticky layer, but is that sometimes needed like after a base coat? Or is it always important to get rid of a sticky layer even during the procedure? Kisses from Switzerland, Marc

    • @NailCareerEducation
      @NailCareerEducation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Oh WOW! Very good question,
      NEVER Remove the sticky layer - except if your about to file OR the instructions specifically direct you to. For compatible products that layer helps the adhesion - thank you for asking this

    I wish you made the. Ez gel in clear for clear capping an ez-gel inlay.
    Also, I gotta say I just bought everything needed for at home poly gel nails even got an e-file I went all out but then I did a set and they looked horrible and every nail broke off at the Free-edge. I had watched you for years but just for fun so this last week I went in and watched as a student and I have learned so much from you that now after many tries I am proud to show off my nails and have learned so much. You are an amazing teacher, I hate videos that don’t show close ups and they don’t break down each step. You do all that and more plus your voice is so calming and kind so I don’t mind when I have to watch a video 5+ times to get it right. Thanks so much for all your help! Also I can’t wait for y, order to get here! I got your 500 forms and I’m so glad you have all the types of nails on it cause me trying to guess how each nail shape should look has been kinda hard but your forms having each nail shape on it I know will help me.

I was getting constant lifting, because I was not using a proper "base gel" thanks to your advice! • @NailCareerEducation
      @NailCareerEducation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Certainly with tips that you attach to end of fingers- if you’re using Full Cover Tips it’s much harder. Bc cause how much product you used to create the delicate blend between the pink and the white is hard to estimate when you’re doing it underneath a tip because you’re simply estimating how much you’re going to press into your natural nail etc. So you could do it there’s a technique you’d have to take the time to work that specific out.

    I want to do this ombre effect, but with clear hybrid gel instead of white. I’ve seen other people’s take on it (not how they did it just the final result), and it kind of looks like the pink is under the clear? What’s the best way to get it to look like it’s under when it’s on top?

      If you do not use a gritty enough file to remove the cuticle organic material, then you are most likely experienced lifting. A simple buffing block will not do it is to fine a grit
