@@judojudo3808 Its become a meme making our sport look ridiculous, instead of concentrating on the transition they stare up at the ref like a hungry puppy hoping for a treat... Patronizing the ref to score your technique is everything Judo teaches you not to be... very poor sportsmanship and I find it absolutely delightful when it goes wrong for them!

I find to find ALL referees souless in front of over chocked folks. Why are they this chilled ? All ? That last ref stands out as the only ref who steeped in on time. And he's getting all the blame, unbeliveable.
Dude, people talk shit about refs not giving a shit when judoka naps snd just stands there watching a potential life get snuffed out. But then as soon as a ref makes a call for the safety of the athlete then he/she is a soft wussy ref. Cant we all agree that safety should be paramount especially with chokes?
In the last case: she was out of cource. Referee should have left it longer and would have been no doubts.Then she certainly wouldn't have stood up and protested so quickly.

Looking at the ref should be an automatic SHIDO... the athletes should be concentrating on Judo not patronizing the ref to score their move
Why? I think it is judoka own problem if he looks at the ref and don't focus on the match. Mostly opponent punish it more than shido...
