Hello. I wouldn't recommend using a hairdryer or heatgun directly on the battery. The battery might explode. Instead you could use a glue remover( electronics cleaner) which evaporates quickly without leaving any residue such as Falcon 530. Couple sprays under the battery and it will release itself right away.
