Yes, it shouldn't be an issue for you. 5.8 is a good enough height. Maybe initially the height might feel a bit intimidating but within a few days you'll get used to it.
Very Informative content. You have explained very well. I usually do not prefer to put much accessories on bike but will definitely think of putting some of the option in my V-storm as well. Khub valo laglo. Thank you Love from #The_Magical_Sixth. From Raniganj, Durgapur.
Can you add Product Links or Manufacturer/Part Names for your upgrades? I am in the Philippines so need to find a source here or a link to place an international order. Thanks.
Why suzuki not providing xpulse like suspension especially rear... can we get soft result by adjusting stock set up to next set up then it gives soft result or no difference?
It depends. The rear suspension rebounds alot. so what I've done is stiffened the rear by one step which has helped to make the suspension more compliant.
Hi.I am your subscriber also own a v strom250..been watching your upgrades...pls let me know the HOW MUCH QUANTITY OF FORK OIL to be added in each fork...as I advised by you I want to try puteline 5W
I have used 5W (motul) in my Pulsar 180, handling improved & riding was very much confident but i end up cracking my whole front visor assembly (after 6-8 months of usage) . Please mention your case !
bhai rear view mirror ke liye kuch kia hai kya ? i have the same color v strom iske rear view mirrors ka field of view bohot kam hai aur almost kuch nazar hi nahi ata hai side ka. koi achha option available hai to can u suggest ?
Best option hai shifting to Avenger street mirrors. Maine almost 8k kms use Kiya hai yeh mirrors. But abhi ek aur try kar raha hoon mirrors, experiment accha hua toh surely bataunga.
@@wanderverseind bhai i have seen ppl using KTM 390 mirrors on himalayan and vstrom . do u know anything about them or any experience with them how are they ? does it provide good view ? any idea?
Nope. I haven't faced any issues. The longest run of the lights are typically during night runs on highways, the longest I've used them is for around 5 hours, and haven't faced any issues. Even in the mountains the battery never complained and started in one click. Over all no issues at all. Just make sure the lights are turned on only after starting the engine, otherwise aux lights can drain the battery.
Definitely! It will drastically change your riding experience! A friend of mine did it a couple of days back on his vstrom and he was blown away! I would recommend to go for putoline 7.5w fork oil if you are 90% tarmac rider and 5w if you do atleast 40-50% off road. I have the 5w currently but will change to 7.5w in another few thousand kms. Go for it without a doubt in mind.
If you're coming from a Himalayan, I will suggest to fork risers f om ps customs or mototribe customs, it'll cost around 2k, will help when you off road, as stock the bike can be a bit underwhelming if compared to the himmy on off-road.
I had bought the fork oil from a local store, I'm sure they can ship it to you. You'll need two cans. The contact to biker street is in the video description and for the risers the contact to mototribe customs is also in the description of the video.
Hi, I am planning to buy V-storm 250 but my height is 5.4, I have test ride the bike for around 6 km in the city and the pillion was sitting with me and I found no problem at all. But I am little bit concerned about the comfort in day to day traffic, if I have to reverse the bike with sitting on it and all the little things. You can understand. I am a experienced rider with 28 years of experience, I owned Pulsar 150, Pulsar 200 (not NS or RS) and Activa. I want to buy a adventure bike and all adventure bikes are tall. Please suggest me.
At that height it can be a bit tasking. But if you have a slim build and a shorter in-seam you shouldn't have any issues. It will take a couple of days to get used to buy you shouldn't have any issues after that primary "getting used to" period.
Height doesn't matter, if you feel confidence in your riding style you can choose the machine without hesitation. I am 5'4'' as well, and riding a V storm for the last 6 Months without any issue. It will take 2 to 3 weeks to get used to with the height and then you will love the height of the bike. I've done the north Sikkim ride with pillon and with saddle bags without a single fall. Go for it, you will love the machine.
Yep I did. Just do rapid accelerations through out the rev band until 300kms and get the first service done. Don't have to wait till 1000kms. Also don't stay put at any particular rpm, make sure you're playing the rev band.
Lightweight bikes ka Jo issue hai, wobbling. Wobbling rahega top box lagane pe if bike is under 190-200kgs and the box is empty. But agar acche distribution se load karoge toh wobbling ta issue kam ho jata hai.
I got the oil from a shop nearby, they are dealers of putoline here. What I use is the formula gp 5w oil. I have given their number in the description, biker street, you can call them up they will ship it to you. You'll need two cans of 1l each fork will take 530ml of oil. The remaining can be used for next oil changes and top ups. Try to change the oil once every 12 months.
The windshield is absolutely worth it. And as for the fitting you'll need adaptor clamps but there's a huge difference between the stock ones and these. Wind blasts to the head and shoulder are highly reduced.

Yes the seat height is pretty tall, but the thing is seat height is never the only factor. So I would suggest try to get a test ride and get a feel of the bike, that is the best way for you to understand if the bike fits you comfortably.
