You have transformed a garage into a sanctuary for creative leather craft...looks amazing - you could call it a lot of different things but the best is to be able to call it your own... A few things that came to mind if you need to add a label on a map. The Leather Haus The loft leatherdrome (play on motordrome) The sidding (play on: leather / train car) The Ateliery The warehouse / The Shop / The showroom The Quattro Whatever you ultimately name it the work speaks for itself. Thank you for your inspiration and willingness to share your journey.
Your studio looks really amazing! You obviously have spent a lot of time planning it and you can see that you have learnt from your previous two setups. I think sometimes forgotten when planning work space, is that you are going to spend a lot of your life there and you have reflected that by adding comfort in your amazing desks and lounge area. A Kings Ransom. It looks like your doing very well. And thanks for the inspiration at the end. I really hope I might achieve some success but a 25' fall onto concrete 7 years ago slowed me down, broken back among other things, partial paralysis, but you give me hope. I did leather work years ago but as a hobby. I made Irish folk drums, moccasins for my friends all designs of my own some native American items. All gifts I enjoyed giving my work away. Then Marriage 2 children and a job to survive. The leather was put up for 31 years then the fall. Wish me luck and same to you. Thanks Tom

I would probably keep calling it the Studio. I love the way you've got it split up into zones; it looks really great and functional. I'm in the process of getting a giant (12 ft) quilting machine and was going to repurpose the master bedroom as a sewing studio, but now you've got me thinking about the garage.....yours looks so great! My leathercraft studio is a just a cardboard box with basic tools in it. I have a big cutting mat that I bring out on my kitchen table and that is where I work from. I'm just a hobbyist so I don't need that much space, but I am currently looking for a new appartment and I'm lowkey looking to have a dedicated space to work from, even just a corner to put a permanent workbench would be a huge improvement.

Congratulations on the new space, I saw it in Peter’s video and have been waiting for your video to come out. As for the name, kingdom and castle may seem like the more appropriate choice because of the name of your company. But I feel a place has its own voice and have always felt homes and buildings will tell you what it is. For example, my home and the homes of several friends have names, Griffin’s Door, Bell and Dragon, and Tippie’s Keep. Without being there and using my impressions from the video, my beginning ideas would be “Little Carriage House, King’s Stable,” and so on. Your history and the history of the place is where it’s name will emerge from. Good luck and I can’t wait to hear what you come up with!
100% should be called "The Kingdom". Also man. Get yourself a Google home mini and really utilize those hue bulbs. You can do some incredible things that help tie it all together. A smart studio is my goal down the line. 🤘🏻
