"Whats in my toolkit while touring" videos are generally not available on youtube because unlike you most of the tourers are just tourers and not bike lovers and know it everything'ers (if thats a word. LOL). Love your videos. Hope to meet you some day or at least pass by you on a highway.
riding bikes over 8 years I haven't done enough in knowing about the parts and what it needs. this is informative and also alerts me to know my bike more. thank you
I own a RE for ten years and didn't think about tools this much until now very useful video mate thanks and once again whizeeeeee 9 minutes gone like that and thanks for your time and dedication mate cheers 🍻🙏
A rare and Very important video for all the RE TB 500 owners! Planning to change to alloys before attempting Leh and Spiti. I've jotted down the names of all.
I can just imagine the hard-work that has gone behind the creation of this video. The shooting, narration, little shots of details that make the viewer understand in so much detail. The long smooth and beautiful stop motions that just took my heart away. The thought that you wanted to make it and then finally ended up doing it all , multiple times is commendable. That’s just sheer love for making videos. And in addition to that...the miles and years of experience to make such a concise yet detailed informative video. Answering every question before it’s asked. It’s a great video Sir 🙌🏼
Hello TFT! I'm a big fan of your videos. Thanks for the peak into your tool kit. I'd love to see you do a series of videos on how to fix minor problems in the Thunderbird.. Whatever you can think of.. Like flat tyre.. Changing the engine oil.. Adjusting the chain tension.. Stuff like that.. It would be immensely useful. And it would make your followers self reliant on the highway.. Just like yourself. Thanks again for making our life more bearable in these trying times! Love your work ❤
These sort video are sort of boring. But that wasn't the case here. I found all videos of yours very engaging. You are a creative and intelligent person & I don't miss a chance to comment, like & share your videos since 2016.
Thank a lot for sharing your wisdom with us, which a person can only gain through the passage of time with only his dedication and patience . Your insight will definitely going to ease our journey ahead. After conquering every hardship that we will be facing in future, more the sense of gratitude will arise for you. . 👌🙏🏼👏🎈
The lockdown has done a good thing to us the followrs of this channel, that you are being serious about your fantastic channel and sharing your valuable experiences with us.😁
Rohit ....always admired about ur luggage management ....now ...perfect video for tool kits ..that one should carry particularly while on a solo ride .... Superb Bro 🍺🍺
You can have all the fancy tools in your luggage but what you really matters is to stay calm and keep your shit together while working your motorcycle alongside the busy road with sweating like a maniac with your riding gears on. Happy trails.
You definitely have to carry all the tools..I had a very bad experience today on my interceptor due to a puncture..it happened on the Lavasa stretch and local mechanic harrassed me to the maximum...DIY knowledge is very important on longer tours..
Nice one. Love the new edit style. Something I make a point to carry Spare fuses Crimp connectors and wire strippers. Some coins as they can be a gd cover on a hole and then seal it using any two part epoxy
Nice kit, but a little bit heavy and bulky in my opinion. With just two or three additions you could really do full periodic maintenance with it and maybe build a house while you're at it. For example you shouldn't need a ratchet and that motion pro thing if you just carried your 1/4 sliding bar plus the extension and a double female 1/4 to hex adapter for the bits. And maybe you don't need all those spanners but only two double spanners 10-12 and 14-17, maybe a 19 if at all... As for myself, I have two kits: One for shorter rides with a 1/4 sliding bar with 8, 10, 12 and 14 sockets, a couple of hex bits (JIS, flats, allens), the hex to 1/4 adapter to use with the sliding bar, a 10-12 and a 14-17 double C-spanner, a 15 mm adjustable wrench and a small plier. That kit fits everywhere and weighs just a couple of hundred grams, and covers almost every little problem that pops out. The other kit is bigger/heavier and carries tools for chain repairing/installation (chain cutter and link press tool), tube changing (spoons, compressor and tube), electricals, zip ties, wire, tape, epoxy, some nuts and bolts, fuses, a little grease and chain lube. For wheel removal/axle loosening I rely on the tools provided with the motorcycle. For any other problems... hell, I'll just hitch a ride and have it towed back home.
Made me realize how under prepared I am during my rides. By the way, we have touched 94 k subscribers. Yay!! 6k more to go. That too will happen ....soon :)
Nice informative one bro, that motion pro multi tool is really, need to find it soon now...btw what a coincidence...i shared something similar for Himalayan sometime ago!
Hi bro, Recently i did a long ride thought of maintaining tool kit first i found your video very much informative also i saw in Hero Xpulse Insta page about your review.I own classic 350 and i am planning Xpulse from long time.Hope soon i own Xpulse. Thanks for Informative Videos.
Good to know. I always enjoy your videos. Now since many people have started to travel again, what are your plans. Hitting the road soon, or waiting for the virus to subside more?
The viaterra tool kit is always out of stock. Been trying to get my hands on one for a while now. And the Resqtexh inflator is a perfect inflator. Loved the stop motion videos man. Great job.
Appreciate the relevant content. Do carry the same toolkit when you're out on the Xpulse as well? Or did you need to add/remove bits and pieces from this?
Lovely video. The motion edit sequences must have taken a long time - verry naice (Borat impression) :) .. It would be cool to do a new intro sequence with these techniques.
1:56 The Multi-tool is good but sadly it's a US product and link in the description is for US Amazon.com! Any alternative product or alternative Indian websites link will be good.
I ride a classic 500 with rear disc and have Ladakh carrier installed. Got puncture in the rear tyre with all the luggage mounted. Was riding alone in the night in the mountains. It's a fucked up scene.
Rohith bro, Touring with a himalayan, puncture liquid is a better option for a K2K trip 🤔🤔? Or normal..? Which one is better🤔? Tourers said that puncture liquid is not good for the long ride, its affecting the tyre life.. what about your opinion?

True and if you have luggage carrier than it will be next level
I ride a classic 500 with rear disc and have Ladakh carrier installed. Got puncture in the rear tyre with all the luggage mounted. Was riding alone in the night in the mountains. It's a fucked up scene.
But the question is will you continue to have this toolkit for your new motorcycle?
Rohith bro,
