They are even harder than Paganini !
Yes.
So clear!
All the different violinists always make this piece so colorful with their own phrasing, and this one is really good!
beginning of etude 2 reminds me of like, christmas in the 1950s. like what a jolly tune ha love it
Except playing it is definitely not jolly 😂
Ernst nailed it here. Well played too.
excellent playing, it is very hard to make this pieces sound like music when there are so many difficulties and uncomfortable positions to go through
Il terzetto è straordinario
Фантастика! Брависсимо!!!
Turban has such great taste
You are still a long way to go for these etudes after fully mastering the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in D.
Wow the amount of chords and multiple lines makes this look like it could be suited for piano or guitar! :o
amazing speed on #4! how the hell's he do that?
Amazing playing!!!!!!!!!!!!
just PERFECT
on his Ernst CD there are quite a few of other Ernst gems like Othello fantasie, Rondo Papageno and the Erlkönig !
Ottimo !
Wonderfulllllllllllll
im liking these and donts
I guess the ability to comfortably master the 5th position of the violin is the absolute minimum requirement for these etudes.
the absolute minimum requirement is to master the entire violin technique...this is the hardest piece for violin, all of these 6 pieces

@@gsm2424 oh boy just wait until you see Roman Kim’s arrangement of Beethoven’s 5th symphony
What do plus and minus signs in brackets mean?
This is totally insane....
So hard
5:52 New complexity before new complexity.
Shit, now I gotta learn how to play this. I can't rest until I do.
Prodegious
Where in the depths of hell was this written? I thought the Bach sonatas and partitas were bad.. omg…
why do you think these etudes and bach's sonatas and partitas are bad?
@@waffled7854 "Bad" in the sense of "absurdly difficult".
Maybe Ernst's pieces are harder than Paganini's.
Maybe the guitar version can make it a little easier !
Although they are technically very difficult, they don't work very well as a performance piece, they're very much Etudes to test your patience. Paganini Caprices offer a different type of difficulty, but are somehow more musical and easier on the ear than these.
