Yep! My fiancé said Willow was going to win after he watched the first episode with me. And it took me until the second or third episode to think that. And mostly cuz he kept telling me “look at this one, just pure star power, def the winner” and he was right!
I said she was going to win from the moment j saw her walk in, and it was confirmed after episode one’s challenge. Willow gave me a lot of Sharon Needles energy and creativeness but a more pink and passive version of it. Regardless, still star power energy from day 1 and I think Ru knew she was going to be top 3 as well.
The funny thing is, her entrance look is every bit as specific and fashion-conscious as any well-constructed throwback 80s, 70s, or 60s look we've seen on the show. Maybe some people just don't like thinking of early 2000s as "period" fashion. :)

A lot of them wore the style and a lot of the fashion icons from the time are still in the spotlight.

I am convinced Willow came into the workroom that first day dressed like that KNOWING everyone was going to read her for it and everyone was going to think she was a filler queen. Willow produced her entire story this season and I love it.

Willow’s win is a great example of how track record isn’t everything! Yes, she only won 1 challenge, but she was arguably the runway queen of the season and killed almost every challenge! Like every week, she was one of the queens talked about and consistently gagged us… that’s a winner.
Track record isn’t just wins. She actually had one of the best track records even with only one win because of how often she was in the top. It’s like how Yvie won-she had one win but was in the top over and over and wound up with a strong track record despite only one win.

honestly what I love about Willow Pill is that when she lipsyncs she SHARES the stage and the spotlight with her fellow queen. Truly sportsmanlike for the master strategist.
The way Willow tackles the darkness of the universe with such relatability and honesty is what gravitates me to her. I find her a huge beacon of hope and light in today’s world. I will always be a fan.
as someone whos also disabled shes an icon to me. first she made everyone underestimate her, then she wins that design challenge in the third episode even though it was so hard for her, and finally she becomes the first disabled queen. i loved her from the promo pics and nearly cried when she won. I'm so proud of her!
Cornbread and willows relationship is so cute because cornbread knows that willow will and sometimes does need help and I love how cornbread doesn’t have to be asked by willow for help she just offers it and willow appreciates it
With the exception of Snatch Game, Willow thrived in every single challenge. Even the final challenge, when she was put in the bottom, I still think her verse is my favorite. It's hard to believe she only had 1 win because she was just so damn good the whole time. That's not even mentioning her killer runways too
let's talk about it: 1. she was immediately underestimated and proved everyone wrong. 2. she was extremely strategic and worked her way to the top. she should have had more wins but she was consistently high and this proves her skill set is high. 3. she pushed through her ailments and remained so lovable. 4. she annihilated the finale and deserved her win. 5. her bond with kornbread and angeria is so adorable. 6. she's so damn funny. 7. she brought the fashion and out of the box lewks henny 8. cute, absurd and a touch of ugly!

This just reminded me that she should have won the panel challenge. She was the ONLY one who combined comedy with genuine vulnerability. That's the challenge i fully became team willow!!! She slayed the entire season, this was a special moment for me.
I adore Willow Pill. Her creative looks blows everyone else off the stage. She is not drowning in over done makeup & wigs, she is beautiful even when not in drag. I feel as though Willow Pill is more approachable and would be a great friend to have. Willow seemed to be a friend to all the other girls without displays of jealousy, And lucky for her she was adopted by Kornbread, early on she could never ask for a better sista. Viva La WIllow Pill & Kudos to Kornbread for her kindness & support.
The DragCon panel about fatherhood was amazing. That was 4 individual, wildly different takes on their own relationships with their fathers that I (most people I bet) did not know. I'm glad they included the whole clip. ❤
i just love how she came into the werk room and was immediately underestimated then went on to win the entire season. willow pill is extremely inspirational because she has an ailment that brings her much pain yet she still pushes through and doesn't complain. she is just so damn lovable too. willow pill showed me that anything in life is possible you just have to put your mind to it.
She's one of my favourite drag queens and winner. She's everything. She makes me cry because of her resilience. She didn't won because her illness, she won because she's smart, beautiful fashion looks, good person, good partner, and very unique humor sense. I love her and can't wait to watch her in a "all winners" season.

You can absolutely now tell that she was playing up the clumsy shy simple fashion thing for her entrance. She even bent her head down to make her glasses fall! It really made the others underestimate her! So smart!
Awwww that moment with Cornbread helping her was really sweet and even though most queens would say it’s not a great idea to help your competition in a regular season (unlike maybe all stars when it could help you to be like that) I think that shows that even though she could let Willow tough it out like she said that Willow always does and without complaining, Cornbread isn’t above just even recognizing how a small moment like holding a cup of hot water would help her a lot and Cornbread knows that it’s nothing off her back to just be kind as well as fabulous 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
as someone who's medically complex seeing kornbread's and willow's friendship makes me so happy cos just like willow, i don't complain. to have someone like kornbread who picks up on the things we don't wanna complain about is just a godsend.

I love Willow Pill and believe that she was the best of a pretty great season. However, I don’t see her in an all-winners season or an all-stars season as they are a little cut-throat because the other contestants have something to prove. I believe she’ll be hidden behind the glitz, glamor and hype. Her drag is cerebral and quiet which doesn’t transcend when you’re up against a lot of noise and hype. But, I could be wrong. No matter… If she’s on TV, I’m watching as it will be a great show.
That Willow vs Bosco Luther Vandross lipsync was truly the highlight of the season for me. The emotion, the movement, every part of the delivery is just stunning.

Let's be real, outside the fact that she would be a absolute icon for those who went through what she did or similar. She was so smart, very strategic and played all the girls like a fiddle. She was so lovable and she had such a unique look of drag and all these ideas... She deadass said "I haven't done drag in a year!" And still won. This is how you know you where born to do drag. Heck, if the show was rigged I would've thought the favor was in angeria. Because she was beautiful and talented. But hey, my top picks were Lady Camden and Willow Pill, and those where the lip sync for the crown. XD
Willow embodies that campy, eccentric side of drag so well, such an authentic queen. And I would have been totally okay with her, Angeria or Lady Camden winning, those 3 were amazing (Angie was definitely 3rd in the final ranking in my heart) But this season was WIWWOWWWW PILL'S for sure

With the exception of Snatch Game, Willow thrived in every single challenge. Even the final challenge, when she was put in the bottom, I still think her verse is my favorite. It's hard to believe she only had 1 win because she was just so damn good the whole time. That's not even mentioning her killer runways too

Not to mention her runways are fantastic. Definitely one of my favorite winners!
Still love how Bosco got Willow's sense of humor instantly when she walked into the workroom. WHOLESOME.

1. she was immediately underestimated and proved everyone wrong.
2. she was extremely strategic and worked her way to the top. she should have had more wins but she was consistently high and this proves her skill set is high.
3. she pushed through her ailments and remained so lovable.
4. she annihilated the finale and deserved her win.
5. her bond with kornbread and angeria is so adorable.
6. she's so damn funny.

I too have a chronic disability, my joints frequently hurt and it hurts to move a lot of the time. Seeing Willow Pill do all these things is such an inspiration to me.

I gagged most when she chose Bosco to lip sync and that actually gave her the song she wanted. It was a big wet chef's kiss for me in that moment! XD
This just reminded me that she should have won the panel challenge. She was the ONLY one who combined comedy with genuine vulnerability.

I adore Willow Pill. Her creative looks blows everyone else off the stage. She is not drowning in over done makeup & wigs, she is beautiful even when not in drag. I feel as though Willow Pill is more approachable and would be a great friend to have. Willow seemed to be a friend to all the other girls without displays of jealousy,
And lucky for her she was adopted by Kornbread, early on she could never ask for a better sista. Viva La WIllow Pill & Kudos to Kornbread for her kindness & support.
The DragCon panel about fatherhood was amazing. That was 4 individual, wildly different takes on their own relationships with their fathers that I (most people I bet) did not know. I'm glad they included the whole clip. ❤
i just love how she came into the werk room and was immediately underestimated then went on to win the entire season. willow pill is extremely inspirational because she has an ailment that brings her much pain yet she still pushes through and doesn't complain. she is just so damn lovable too. willow pill showed me that anything in life is possible you just have to put your mind to it.
I feel this is one of few cast that truly loved one another and cheered for each other in an honest and humble way!
She's one of my favourite drag queens and winner. She's everything. She makes me cry because of her resilience. She didn't won because her illness, she won because she's smart, beautiful fashion looks, good person, good partner, and very unique humor sense. I love her and can't wait to watch her in a "all winners" season.
I’ve never been this obsessed with a queen again since Jinkx Monsoon season and I’m here again with Willow Pill I know she will win the moment she entered the workroom with that damn flipflops and that Enya lipsync talent show secured the crown 💗🌸💞

@@joeywild2011 I think because there’s an expectation of heightened fashion in RPDR, that it’s difficult for contestants/judges to appreciate camp/less ‘polished’ looks. That if something doesn’t look a particular way, then it’s somehow not fashionable.
@@TheOtherChosenOnes I mean, I wouldn’t say the Angle look was fashionable, but I can also tell it wasn’t meant to be. The ‘low effort’ vibe was intentional, combining with the misspelling of Angel as Angle it all comes together to give the vibe of “messy dumb girl” which is what Willow was going for. It’s clever and funny, but not fashionable

I'm so happy disabled people can find ways to experience the public life like everybody else the disabled are so hindered by public experiences I'm just so glad this show helps those people in enacting a future in public life

You can absolutely now tell that she was playing up the clumsy shy simple fashion thing for her entrance. She even bent her head down to make her glasses fall! It really made the others underestimate her! So smart!
Awwww that moment with Cornbread helping her was really sweet and even though most queens would say it’s not a great idea to help your competition in a regular season (unlike maybe all stars when it could help you to be like that) I think that shows that even though she could let Willow tough it out like she said that Willow always does and without complaining, Cornbread isn’t above just even recognizing how a small moment like holding a cup of hot water would help her a lot and Cornbread knows that it’s nothing off her back to just be kind as well as fabulous 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

as someone who's medically complex seeing kornbread's and willow's friendship makes me so happy cos just like willow, i don't complain. to have someone like kornbread who picks up on the things we don't wanna complain about is just a godsend.

I love Willow Pill and believe that she was the best of a pretty great season. However, I don’t see her in an all-winners season or an all-stars season as they are a little cut-throat because the other contestants have something to prove. I believe she’ll be hidden behind the glitz, glamor and hype. Her drag is cerebral and quiet which doesn’t transcend when you’re up against a lot of noise and hype. But, I could be wrong. No matter… If she’s on TV, I’m watching as it will be a great show.
That Willow vs Bosco Luther Vandross lipsync was truly the highlight of the season for me.
The emotion, the movement, every part of the delivery is just stunning.

Let's be real, outside the fact that she would be a absolute icon for those who went through what she did or similar. She was so smart, very strategic and played all the girls like a fiddle. She was so lovable and she had such a unique look of drag and all these ideas...

Heck, if the show was rigged I would've thought the favor was in angeria. Because she was beautiful and talented. But hey, my top picks were Lady Camden and Willow Pill, and those where the lip sync for the crown. XD
Willow embodies that campy, eccentric side of drag so well, such an authentic queen.
And I would have been totally okay with her, Angeria or Lady Camden winning, those 3 were amazing (Angie was definitely 3rd in the final ranking in my heart)
But this season was WIWWOWWWW PILL'S for sure
