I love Hyolyn! I wish this was longer. We don't get much interviews with Hyolyn where she can be herself and answer deep questions so I'm always looking forward to interviews like this!! Thanks for inviting Hyolyn! I hope she comes back and we get to hear more from her. I want to know how Eric and Hyolyn met. They look so comfortable around each other and the gifts with Hyolyn's cats are awesome. It's customized just for her and we all know how much she loves her cats. I know she works with Nicole Kirkland (spelling?) so she’s had to go to America a lot and I know Nicole herself has come to Korea to perform so English has to be the medium language. That and she has worked with Aliyah Jennell (again spelling?!)
In one of her vlogs she showed that she is learning English and has an English tutor. That's why her pronunciation is really good, especially recently!!
The only thing she lacks is confidence when it comes to English - you can usually see she starts off with english and then switches to korean and often she seems a bit nervous when speaking
I can’t even tell you how much I love Hyolyn. I’m a recent fan as I saw her on Queendom and then went back and watched all of Sistar’s content. Hyolyn has been a BEAST of an artist from the beginning. LOVE HER! So glad she could be on the show with Eric. This made me happy!

Hyolyn's laugh is so adorable
She is just great. I'm bummed it was so short, that there wasn't something like an ENG corner where only ENG was allowed and that she isn't more successful. Her music is good, her voice is top tier, her dancing is fantastic and she partakes in genres and concepts Kpop doesn't really touch anymore (like mature sexy). I'd kill for both a deep dive episode (1+ hour long) and for her to put out a banger title track that does really well which leads to increased album sales.
Questions like WHY did she create a single-person record label?
Did she consider joining a big label? What about a smaller label?
What are the pros and cons of being a one-person label?
What would have bigger label have to promise in writing for her to sign on with them?
What was her opinion of how Queendom played out? Why does she think she didn't win?
What, if anything, does she feel like she gained from being on the show? What pressures does she feel in the industry that she is constantly fighting against succumbing to?
What's it like to be a tan, muscular, tattooed kpop idol/artist who sings and dances in a mature sexy manner (Dally)?
Are there things she thinks she could do differently as an artist in order to be more successful but she doesn't do them because she would feel fake or lose her artistic integrity?
and so much more.

Her new album is really good. I've listened to artists from various countries and her voice is the best. Her voice is on of the methods I use to ease my anxiety. It is as close to perfect for my listening tastes as a voice could get. I've had her catalogue on Spotify onward for months now. I've added Dasom and Soyou to the playlist because I adore Sistar. Soyou is in my top 5 favorite vocalists with Hyolyn, Sade, Debbie Reynolds, and Mary J Blige. Sistar are all great vocalists though I really wish Bora had solo work as well to add. I put Sistar in with my other 2 favorite female K-Pop vocal groups, Big Momma and Mamamoo, when it comes to vocals and how pleasant their harmonies are. She is one of my favorite artists.

I find it really sad that the thing that motivates her is mainly to take care of her employees. People really ruined this woman in the past years with stupid scandals and just like with every other idol, no one ever apologised. I really wish the talking section at the beginning would be longer, we rarely hear about her deep thoughts and feelings
