Growmiez Homiez Called Prickly Pear... the peeled pads/fronds when eaten, are called Nopales/Nopalitos.( Opuntia spp.) .. grows all over the americas, as you get more temperate tends to be on the coast rathe4 than arid dry areas..

My mom forced me to consume aloe vera from a very young age. As, I and my sister acquired the taste, we not only looked forward to eating it, we also placed the gel in a air-tight glass container with water, stored it in the fridge and drank it whenever thirsty. Our skin and excretory system thanked us for it! To this day I don't have wrinkles on my face
