Great review, STG always has some of the best reviews with information you cant find anywhere else, like mentioning those little detensers and filter screen. Tho I was about to scratch this helmet off the top of my list because I thought it looked HUGE, but I think its the camera lens that gives that effect... I wish we could have seen the helmet on somebody doing a 360
K5 or GT Veloce??? I ride daily on a naked street bike and maybe get down to the 3/4 when on the highway. I'm more than happy to spend the extra for the GT Veloce, if it is a better helmet and I'd probably rock their AGVisor LCD visor with the GT.......I'd love your thoughts on this and it would really help me with my decision :)
+MorryMoto If the GT Veloce is in the budget it is a better helmet IMO. It is more of a race style helmet as it comes from the Corsa and Pista, but is totally at home on the street. How do the AGV K5 and the Shoei GT Air compare as far as noise level and ventilation? I ride in very hot weather and sweat easily. From what I can see, they are comparable in weight, and I believe they both can use a pinlock. My only concern is airflow in the K5.
K5 has AWESOME airflow. AGV puts some BIG vents in the EPS. I would say the AGV is slightly louder than the GT Air but that happens when you open up the vents for better airflow.
I have the same issue. There is just no way to get the cheekpads back in as tightly as when you first bought it. I've had a lot of helmets and this cheekpad secure design is just the worst ever.
yes I had the same issue. I took the whole neck section out and replaced it with the side bits first and the tabs for the back of the neck last. you have to put quite a bit of pressure putting the bits of plastic into the slots. it's now tight as it was new.
Hmmm...here I am in 2020 with the neck/cheek liners not going back the way they came out either. Those black clips aren't clipping into anything...was a great helmet till now. Disappointing.
Hey...in the begining of the summer i bought my k5 and i love it besides his vision. i have a 600rr and i don't feel 100% comfortoble and when i go it a tuck position i can't see, i'm alwalys battleing between seeing and not messing with my neck and jackt. my question is...do you think the gt veloce is better in those terms? Does it have a more taller vision?
+See Zzo The helmet is fairly quiet, but it also has great air flow. Helmets with more airflow are usually not the most quiet but it absolutely makes it more comfortable. I have ridden this helmet with the Sena and experienced no problems hearing the speakers at any speed. Thanks for watching!

Hello, i have K5 helmet, but i need help abouth something. I pulled out the cheek pads but i cant put it back. How can u put in cheek and neck pads ?

Are AGV helmets quiet? I had a hjc, on a quiet bike and my ears were ringing in the helmet. I could only cope with earplugs. I don't want HJC anymore.

Does this helmet give a wide viewing angle during tucked down riding position?
can i wear this helmet with my glasses ?
Should be alright, Scorpion usually is most accommodating to glasses though.

Sorry, 1 more thing: Does this fog alot? Fogging in the rain etc? And is it possible to buy a dark smoke tinted visor? :):)
