Another great video. With a soft potting medium, the seedlings can be pulled out nicely. But if there's some soil in it, should use something to extract it out, like a small spoon, or something. I bought a transplanter for this purpose. I like it, since it has very less width, and has got good length, so it will be useful to take out seedlings easily. However yes, when there are several small seedlings close together like in your case, it can be tricky :D. Man, there are so many beautiful flowers for all seasons. I just want to grow them all, but cannot.. haha. Still good to know about them.
@Anupam S, Thank you very much Anupam :-) Agree with you, when we use soft potting medium, we can pull out the seedlings much easier way. It was raining few days back and this made the situation worse :-( Lost many seedlings as I was not expecting continuous rainfall at this time of year. Plus, it also made the soil media too compact :-( Anyway, hardy seedlings are there and all sensitive are already gone :-( You did good thing buying the seedling tray. By using it, we can transplant seedlings much easier way. And of course, there are lots of beautiful plants and I also think same like you. I mean, want to grow them all..:D but I know, it's not possible in a year. But this year, I am trying to grow as many new plants as possible. Let's see how it goes :-)
@@GardeningUpbeat Oh, these off season rains are quite a trouble. Well, I don't think you wouldn't be transplanting all seedlings anyways, so it's good that the hardy ones survived. Rainy season made the soil on the ground in my garden so hard, I am now having trouble trying to turn the soil. It's really hard, and I think it would need a big pick axe which I don't have. Oh, by transplanter I did not mean a seedling tray. Transplanter is like a trowel but having less width. I bought this one from Ugaao: www.ugaoo.com/pyramid-transplanter-with-wooden-handle-and-cushion-grip.html Oh great... good luck to you to grow plants :). Not possible for me, as I am fairly new gardener, and I don't want to burden myself more than I can handle :D. More plants mean more care and more time to care for them. So, I will buy just a few selected plants. Do keep sharing what you grow this season :). Take care.
@Anupam S, agree with you :-) Since it would be impossible to transplant all the seedlings, it's better that only hardy one survived :-) Oh, I got that now :-) I was thinking you were referring to seedling tray :D And, definitely I would share the gorgeous blooms :-) Thank you once again for the support, TC :-)
@@GardeningUpbeat my pleasure Chandan :). I had ordered a pen knife from Amazon recently. I had ordered the Grizzly pen knife as it seemed good and it qualified for free delivery. Lakeer didnt had free delivery. I got the pen knife today, but it was from a different brand that I ordered... some Worison brand. I initiated its return. These things really make me quite angry. Just for a simple thing, people try to fool the customers. Really bad. Some strict action should be taken against such people. It's frustrating when this happens. Now, they won't provide exchange but a refund will be made. It should've been an exchange with the proper product delivered to me that I asked for. I won't take the risk and order again. I had looked for a pen knife in the local stationary shops nearby, but didn't get it. Will look in bigger shops somewhere.
@Soumya Naik, thank you so so much...Sure, I would send you the seeds for next season :-) They are almost about to bloom :-) The best thing about Acroclinium is that the blooms last for many more days like Helichrysum:-) I am documenting everything so that I can share with you and others :-)
I live in Kerala where it's almost always too hot or rains too much. We have only laterite soil in my area with lots of tiny stones. I mixed cow dung powder and bonemeal as fertilizer. The seeds have sprouted but i dont know if they will be able to survive the heat.
@my fairy terrace garden, Thank you very much..they are really beautiful and plus point is that the blooms last for many days. Not sure though why they are not that popular.
@Rama Uppalur, Please don't as they are winter flowering plants. I have videos about many Summer flowering plants and here are few - 1. th-cam.com/video/fMCwlBlL3N0/w-d-xo.html 2. th-cam.com/video/XR6ejftAC7M/w-d-xo.html 3. th-cam.com/video/dL4-hmBXpD8/w-d-xo.html That more than 30 plants and I hope it would be enough for your garden, thank you :-)
Instead of 2-3 hours of morning sunlight, can I give them 1-2 hours of afternoon sunlight? And after the transplantation how many hours to keep them in sun??
@Juanna, Sure that would work if temp is not much...otherwise, seedlings might get some trouble as afternoon sunlight is more intense. But if temp is not high, no problem :-) After transplanting, 5-6 would be ideal or whole day if you can. I kept them on terrace. I would upload the video from this stage to flowering very soon :-)
@Rajan Art & craft channel, Not exactly as best time to sow seeds is Sept end to Oct :-) They can't tolerate too much hot temperature...For Summer flowering plants, I already have many videos. For example, just today I have uploaded one video - th-cam.com/video/-lPwKN98lFo/w-d-xo.html Please note, I don't repeat same thing in my videos :-)
@Jana .P, Around 80-90 days...but once they bloom, the blooms last for many many days. As of now, I don't have the updated video but I would upload very soon (I have the recordings already) Thank you and I would appreciate if you don't call me Sir, just a request :-)
Hi there Mister Gardener :) I have a question.. My NEWEST three Marigold leaves are curling and have turned dark green (my normal leaves are light green), and only these three leaves look like they are dying, the rest are still OK. My Marigold is still young, probably only a month old or 15cm tall! Could it be overwatering? Do you have any idea what is going on? Thanks for reading 😎
@Marcusian Aviation, thank you for your question. I already have a video about it where I shared all the possible causes and also shown the remedy with results. Please watch that video and I believe you are going to find your answers. If not and have more questions, plz let me know and I would get back ASAP. Here is the video - th-cam.com/video/899uLxWMHmQ/w-d-xo.html
Please show how the flowering happens in this plant....after seedlings transfer.
Tysm! I got seedlings on day 16-17. I gave them full sun for 7 days.
Another great video.

Can I add river sand in soil mix?
@TAQI AHMED NUMAN, YES we can...but if we use Cocpeat, it's easier at the time of transplanting, mainly while pulling out the seedlings :-)
@@GardeningUpbeat I mean to say after transplantation?
@TAQI AHMED NUMAN, Sure we can :-)

Hi! How many days will it take to bloom?? 🙏🌈🌟🌟
Last time u kept seeds in water for 12 hours for daisy, is it bot needed ?
What if the temperature goes upto 40 degree ?
Rhodanthe, also known as sunray or pink paper daisy. With my best regards.
@AH.Qasem Al-Maliki, Thank you very much for your input. Yah, I agree with you and it has many other names as you mentioned.

Hii in which month we should sow it's seeds??
From mid sept to Dec. Well it's just a rough idea but if the night temperature in your area is approx 20-25°C you can grow it now.
So it flowers only in winter?
@Arun G, Sorry for the late reply...Yah in winter but last till April-May :-)
Where can we get the seeds from? Im from North East. And thank you so much for this informative video
You can get it from seedsnpots site.
