Apne expenses ke bare main zikar kiya par expense ratio ke bare main jyada bathaya nahin hain.. e.g.- say fixed 4k per year expenses, yani Active MF ke 1% expense ratio ko match karne ke liye aapko 4 Lac every year isme invest karna padega, otherwise agar 1 Lac invest kiya tho aapka expense ratio 4% ho gaya, so returns should be much much more than MF year after year - if MF of same category gives 16%, then this will have to give 20% return to match it...not realistic Not to mention, we have to keep doing buying, selling, if we get busy or there is a life event and we miss then the loss can be significant and wipe out any gains Also not tax efficient, apart from buy sell short term tax, fees etc. all dividends will taxed at slab and not given chance to grow.. Over all seems like a bekaar ka ghanghat, unless you have like 50L to invest.. in which case why not go the PMS route?
Don't go for momentum smallcase as they only give good returns in bull market, but in bear market they are the worst. In bull market any Tom dick Harry can give you healthy returns but not in down market.
hi I have one query...why my small case holding value doesn't match with broker value..like my small case is showing 600 rs profit and my broker demat portal showing less profit ...and I have not sold any of stock from small case ..they are as it is the time I have bought ! please help

Most smallcase charges make sense only if you put 5L in it
