Psa 11:3 KJV - 3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
After studying the Bible and many related sciences contained within it, plus DNA, Bible prophecy, Biblical history, secular history and archaeological findings over the last century and a half, I've come to the conclusion that evolution has been debunked, and most scientists know that, but are unable to say so because they will lose their funding for research. I do my research with no pay and therefore don't have any such alliances to keep my mouth shut. I appreciate all the hard work you all do in Answers in Genesis.

@@lauracaskey2753 Ha ha. I am a follower of Jesus. I give talks on how Biblical creation is the better explanation for our origins over evolution. I was being serious when I said: "Good one Calvin." And I WOULD like to see a video showing the abundance of evidence showing the universe to be thousands not billions of years old. Apology accepted.

Why do people think that GOD cannot create the universe in 6 days? He could have done it in five minutes, but he wanted it perfect. People compare themselves to GOD and think He could not have done this because they can not. Why do you limit GOD? You do not understand His Power or His Mind. I could write a book on this, but you wouldn't read it.
Also, deep time is not even a good basis, because the waiting time problem is insurmountable.

Actually, Calvin, combat experts would also agree that hitting the largest possible target is better for energy expenditure so that one can then focus on weak points.

If we truly based our belief in the historical account of Genesis what day would we worship on to celebrate the Creator?
Very interesting. It's important to note that the USA largely outsources the making of our computer chips. There's a lesson to learn about those ball bearings!
The core issue is people doubting God in the first place. God gave HIS word. Doubting the word is doubting God. That's just giving up one's faith in God in the first place. Simple as that. If people are content to give that up, the other arguments are immaterial. If you give up The Truth, the truth doesn't matter. Sophistication in argument and proof have nothing to do with it. God is right. We are wrong. It's that simple.
Too harsh? Too hardline?
People need to read their bible, or at least the gospels. They'll find Christ saying much harsher from his own lips.
Respectfully, that's a bit simplistic rather than simply harsh. Its like asking what the reason was for a plane crashing and someone answering 'because of gravity', which is true unto itself, but there were other extenuating factors as well. Like WHY do people doubt God's word, which is why the AiG ministry exists, to help Christians fortify their faith and remove doubts and to cause unbelievers to consider the truth claims of the Bible.
From Creation to the Flood of Noah, 6023 years have past. Plus another 7 thousand from the Flood 'til today. This 6023 years is determined by the key phrase "called his name' in the genealogy record from Adam using Luke 3 as guidance. Totalling up these birthdays there mentioned in Genesis right up to the age of Noah at the beginning of the Flood comes to 6023 years. To ignore this timeline is to fall into the Bishop Unger trap. Genealogy is the only way possible to determine the age of the earth. We rightly conclude God did not leave His handwork of creation in the hands of secular man to determine its actual age, but gave it to us, the elect, for our enlightenment and edification. Therefore, the genealogy He gave us in the Holy Scripture would be pointless to not show us the fully trustworthy means to determine with pin point accuracy the age of this universe, earth, and man. Furthermore...
being God articulated the timeline of the history of this world recording it for us in Holy Scripture, by so doing, he overthrows the secular creation of this world showing us, for one thing, that radio-carbon dating is an impossible means to date anything being everything was created in the same 6 day week... even the elements constituting the scientists date measuring instruments.
Make provisions.
For the news that is coming Hearts will melt, Devastation to the land.
One last thing Calvin. Notice how the haters are attracted to light you shine about Jesus? Why should they care about eternity, salvation etc.? From their world view, death is the end. Nothing waiting. So why care what Calvin says. From their point of view, one view is as good as another. That is to say, they are all pointless when you are an evolutionist.
Good thing we have a different worldview which makes more sense in light of the evidence. The fool says in his heart there is no God.

I think a huge factor in the decline was the replacement of the KJV Bible with the modern translations! Folks are confused into thinking we keep changing the Bible. Some translations are terrible because the reader gets to choose their own meaning. And nobody memorizes or quotes the Bible from a modern version like the Message!
Exactla this kind of ideas are causing harm to religions.

Never forget that Darwin didn’t discover anything. He went out into the world with presuppositions and found exactly what he wanted. Also.....Ironically; modern evolutionist can’t even use classical Darwinism because science refutes it.

I think he said if there was one belief he could change. Obviously, the one belief Calvin wants people to have is Jesus. And destroying people's belief in deep time would force them to look at the Bible's claims with fresh eyes.
@@eneeland acceptance is not the same is belief. The reason why many do not accept the biblical claims is *because* they looked at it with fresh eyes. This was my case, having grown up being taught all the childish nonsense as literal accounts of history.
@@Bomtombadi1 I was just the reverse. I was raised knowing nothing about the Bible or God. Then during my university days, I had a go at the Bible and found it to be credible. How can we have drawn opposite conclusions? Have you looked at the archaeological evidence alone which consistently confirms the historical accuracy of the Bible?
Don't you know they've just found a living fish that went extinct "four-hundred-and-fifty-million" years ago?
Cool. What does that have to do with evolution? It doesn't need species to go extinct l, it only takes into consideration that they have. This is an excellent example of the honesty built into science. It is a self correcting process. If scientists really were in this global conspiracy to hide truth, then nothing would come out that would change previously held beliefs. Instead, because science is the most honest process we have, if something comes around that corrects a false idea, we are excited to be one step closer to truth. Organizations like AIG on the other hand, openly rand dishonestly eject all ideas in their "Research Journal" that conflict with their presuppositions

This doesn't make any sense.
Consider this: The 2nd law of thermodynamics did not apply before Adam sinned. BTW: Eve didn't really sin. She was tricked, fooled, and that was not a sin or rebellion. Adam lied and that brought in sin. Rebellion.
By his sin, entropy was introduced into God's creation. Slow degradation, tendency towards randomness, chaos. Death. God even warned us. We are creatures of pattern recognition, that is, structure. All of nature is this way. Thus, we have traditions, and that brings predictability. But ever since the fall entropy is at play. Great civilizations all fall due to entropy, the loss of pattern and traditions, being introduced. It was Satan's plan, and he was largely successful. That is at the core of evolutionary theory, both biological and universal. We must fight against entropy.
In all creation we see patterns. Until we get to the subatomic level. At that point we see probabilities, somewhat predictable, yet not certain. That is where entropy is most at work. When the probability of a subatomic particle doing this or that becomes 50/50 we will have reached full entropy. This universe will end. Everything will come apart in great energy and heat.
In our civilizations there is a large push towards entropy, smoothness, randomness, and uncertainty. The momentum has become huge. I do not believe it can be successfully countered by anything we now can do. This is what the Bible teaches. That doesn't mean we shouldn't try; it only means that things are proceeding according to God's plan. So, look to the Bible to learn the rest of the story. There is hope.
Just my two cents. Perhaps I am wrong! But I don't think so...
