it wasn't hard. i just cut out a templet with cardboard, and after several versions, i got one that i liked, then i cut thin metal, using tin snips, and made what you see. the starter button sits down in the cig lighter.
MikeZyouthpastor looks awesome! I think I'm going to try that, if not they sell them online lol. Did the car start without pushing the button, or did you have to push the button?
someone sold them years ago.... i think i saw it in an american muscle mag, or something, but mine is better as i added the start button. I totally should make those....i get asked about it A LOT! i re connected my starter to the button. the key energized all the circuits, but if you tried to crank the key, nothing happened. the push button was wired to a relay, and the relay handled the amperage needed for the starter. if you ever look at the mustang starter there are 2 very big wires, then one tiny wire. the tiny wire is what engages the little gear into the flywheel to start the car.
How was your A5 astro transmission at the time? And how much torque/horsepower did your mustang push? Planning to purchase a A5 transmission but not to much reviews about it.. Hope u can help thanks!
Wow i saw a video of this car 3 years ago when i had a 94 gt and you were thinking about selling it then. I own a 96 svt cobra currently and i just dropped it off in the shop to get heads done, longtubes ,full exhaust and a bunch of other goodies. Good luck with the sale man its really nice.
It started life as a 5.0. back when I originally rebadged it. Technically, a Windsor based 5.8 mustang is considered a GT-R, but I didn't want to confuse the import crowd. There was no SVT in '94, but I liked dressing up the rear a bit. Last time I checked it was my car. Trolling the internet and telling folks how to spend their money? Come on man!
godam beast!!!! its crazy how amazing you made this car
Thanks man.
@@MikeZyouthpastor For real! I agree. Amazing build man. Something I would like to do in the future. Probably more likely a 331 though from a 302.
Holy shit man that's nice! I'm working my 5.0 up to that
I know you sold this already but do you know how much hp it was making?
hard to say, but according to my drag slips, and compared to similar builds, a conservative 500-525 HP. Those windsors are animals!
I have a 96 mustang and this thing is goals man! Good shit!!
still one of the cleanest sn i have seen
thanks man, it went to a great home.
It was a beautiful mustang. Any idea on how to do the ashtray delete???

MikeZyouthpastor That's exactly what I want to do. and CJ pony parts sells one that looks alot like yours
I'm also a 95' 5.0 owner. What's everything you had done to it? This is definitely my finishing goals!!
check the description.
MikeZyouthpastor I did. Thank you.

Thanks! It was a lot of fun!

it's an excellent transmission. go to corral.net and you will see a lot of threads about the A5. i never dyno'd my car but i estmate 500+ hp and tq.
Beautiful 😍😍
Did you use fox body swap headers? If so how did they fit?
Sorry for delay, I used bbk swap headed iirc. But honestly they are a huge pain to install. Shorty's get the job done and are easy.
Which model 351w (block number) did you use?
Sorry for delay, it was a 70's block. Not the best Windsor's they ever made, but still a great casting.
SOLD!
I hope she goes to a good home, and they're a youtuber lol
How much hp did it put down and did you ever take it to the track?
th-cam.com/video/S21hpq2z9cw/w-d-xo.html
I estimate 500+ hp. i never ran it on slicks, on street tires.
Where did you get your hood ?
IIRC it is a "RR" hood from hardwood. it was bought in 2005, so it's been a while.
What size hood?
That is a harwood Cobra RR hood. 6.5" cowl iirc.
still got it ??
Yes i do.
what percent tint is that?
3%
Did it have ac and heat?
heat worked great, a/c removed....which i regretted.
Wow your dash clock still works! That's the most interesting thing I see in this whole video.
MikeZyouthpastor do u want it all in cash ?
