I feel like at this point Shannon is just writing to write. the storyline fell apart after never seen because does anybody really remember lodestar? and most of the questions or stuff in the storyline isn't even cleared up and book 10 is being written. and stellarlune was just off. most of the group didn't have page time. Keefe wasn't himself and Sophie just got on my nerves a lot. and chapter 42 wasn't huge and didn't seem genuine. I wish there was more story idk. that's my hot take lol.

This is my unpopular opinion, btw. Foxfire is way too “welcoming”, for lack of better word, and Dex should have declined his Regent appointment. First of all, Foxfire. Foxfire is a noble school. I think a better look for it is a sort of high-status, noble private school. This means that only children of nobles are allowed to attend. There is only one very rare exception for this. When someone gets vouched for, which would mean getting a formal request sent to a high-ranking Emissary, which then gets sent to a Councillor, which would be how Dex is allowed to be there in the first book. Then he’d have to wait for his Regent appointment to get fully enrolled. This brings me to my next point. Dex should have declined becoming Regent, and by extension, declined any alliance/affiliation with the Council. These elves let him get bullied all throughout his life. Even Oralie and Kenric didn’t care enough to say “lay off”. I just think he trusted them a bit too easily. By the time of the eight book, I think he had a pretty snug position in the Black Swan. Close friend and technical cousin of the moonlark and the oldest son of one of their Collective. By that time, the Council forged an alliance with the Black Swan too, so it wasn’t like they were “public enemy number one” either. To add to that, Wylie also should have been all Back Swan as well. At this point, both his father and his stepfather were members of the Collective, which leaves him in a good spot. There’s also the fact that the Council also left his dad to be insane for the rest of his life, and he actually would have stayed like that if something happened to Sophie in the human world. I know why Fitz wasn’t included in Team Valiant, but I think that Fitz, at this point, is at “kill or be killed” in regards to his status. His brother left for the enemy, he and his sisters were exiles. These are all legit reasons to want status. I also think that he’d be rather protective of the group. In this AU, Sophie and Fitz aren’t dating. Sophie decided not to try signing up for matchmaking. After hearing about the harsh conditions of matchmaking, Sophie decides she hates the idea of it. In this scenario, Sophie and Fitz would also kiss, but Sophie would definitely not feel it. This would also put more stock into Sophie’s statement that kissing Keefe felt “So. Much. Better.”, since the only comparison would be Dex, who she definitely didn’t have an inkling of feelings for.

Okay, this is not a confession-ish, but rather more a question I have about the series I wanted to see if anyone else had, so we have the Foxfire entrance exams and Fitz goes on and on about how she needs to get in, like there are multiple schools for the elves to go to, they can’t just make the kids go to Exilium because they didn’t pass the exam for Foxfire, I want to know if there are other schools for them to go to, because if they are not any would Fitz stress about Sophie getting into Foxfire unless there are others, and Alden said it was the MOST prestigious academy, not the only. What other ware there??? Please tell me others are also confused about this.
That first confession about Shannon needing to make something permanent is something I agree with 100%. I think that (hear me out) Keefe or Dex should die. The reasoning behind Keefe or Dex dying instead of someone who gets more hate--like Fitz--is because those two are loved in the series, and it would have a huge impact. Shannon doesn't make anything permanent. I thought Forkle's death was permanent but I think she realized she still needed his character so she confused everyone else with the twin thing. Same with Sandor, I thought he was gone but nope.
The Fitzphie almost-kiss is extremely overhated. I hated the Sokeefe kiss. It wasn't exactly enough. It wasn't as nice of a confession as Fitzphie's was. Or I'm just delusional

I actually think Fitz and Biana, and maybe Wylie, should be the only ones to do matchmaking. Sophie, Keefe, and Dex, we already know aren’t doing matchmaking. I don’t think Tam and Linh should either. Both of their characters, especially Tam’s, are very opposed to their parents. Tam and Linh’s parents care a lot for their status. So what would be the best way to impress them? Being a good match, probably finding their match on their first list itself. I think the fact that the fact that they both attend Foxfire is already enough to make Quan and Mai happy. I’m still tentative on Wylie, but Tam and Linh shouldn’t do matchmaking. I’m all for Councillor Fitz and Councillor Tam, even Councillor Wylie, maybe even Councillor Stina.
I LOVE KOTLC, I just hate the fact that people are saying mean things about KEEFE but that's their confession. The Fitzphie almost-kiss is extremely overhated. I hated the Sokeefe kiss. It wasn't exactly enough. It wasn't as nice of a confession as Fitzphie's was. Or I'm just delusional
I thought that Fitz was Keefe and visaversa, (interms of appearance) until book 6 or so. Also, because so much of stellarlune was based on sophie's love triangle thing everytime the letter K or F showed up I instictivley said Keefe and Fitz and had to reread the sentence😅

I actually think Fitz and Biana, and maybe Wylie, should be the only ones to do matchmaking. Sophie, Keefe, and Dex, we already know aren’t doing matchmaking. I don’t think Tam and Linh should either. Both of their characters, especially Tam’s, are very opposed to their parents. Tam and Linh’s parents care a lot for their status. So what would be the best way to impress them? Being a good match, probably finding their match on their first list itself. I think the fact that the fact that they both attend Foxfire is already enough to make Quan and Mai happy. I’m still tentative on Wylie, but Tam and Linh shouldn’t do matchmaking. I’m all for Councillor Fitz and Councillor Tam, even Councillor Wylie, maybe even Councillor Stina.
I LOVE KOTLC, I just hate the fact that people are saying mean things about KEEFE but that's their confession. Personally me I also think that book 10 will be called Elysian and I want something awesome to happen in book 10, specially if it's going to be the last book, we're running out of time but there's so much more to cover. Also I absolutely love ur channel and the vids u upload❤❤❤

See Sophie and Keef are more realistic in some ways, I always had a problem when the love interest being in chapter 1, and I have always thought I new who would end up with who in the books I LOVE to read but KOTLC brings something new perhaps that's why I think Sopkeef is one of the best ships.
