Omg sameeeee about Sandor’s nickname for majority of the series I’ve been reading it as gig-an-a-tor and then one day I suddenly read it properly and I was like hold up and now it feels a bit weird actually reading it properly lol
The Vackers do have a British accent which is described in the first books. It is what Sophie is reminded of. What is interesting is that someone (can’t remember who) said that Sophie is very talented at the Elvin language and her accent is almost as “crisp” as the Vackers.
I like all the stuffed animals it’s like the elvin version of getting some small thing possibly (like a sticker) at the doctors
My friend did the same with unlocked since she doesn’t have a way to learn about the books in advanced
I agree it is a great gift but everyone has them at this point haha
When I read Nightfall for the first time I was in school, and I got to the bit where Sophie’s parents’ memories were erased for the final time and I cried. Idk why, it just made me really sad
And then bunch of kids like 3 years younger than bullied me for crying so that was great 😭

I’ve been doing that for years since before I read the book and the fact that there was a character with trichotillimania (I don’t know how to spell it) was one of the main appeals of the book for me

When I was younger I used to pretend that I was a part of the series and was friends with Sophie. I also want to say that I never got any of the characters confused on the covers

I think the reason everyone is getting Dex confused on the first cover is because his hair color is really unclear, because of the lighting it’s hard to tell if he’s blond with shadows making it darker, brown haired, with highlights making it lighter, or strawberry bling :3

When I got to the Dex and Sophie kiss in nightfall, I just stared at the pages for a solid 5 minutes as if my eyes were magically gonna dead something different…they did not, so I put down the book for the day and returned the next day to see if my magic eyes had worked… again, they did not 😂

I’ve been a fan for many years and it took me so long to realize Keefe DID NOT have black hair 😭
I have the eyelash pulling thing and I didn’t realize I picked it up from the books (since I wasn’t reading between books, I didn’t realize until lodestar came out and I flicked an eyelash on the page 💀)

in case you’re wondering, i was rereading the first book and the accent is described as ‘british maybe? but crisper’ so i think it would sound like an english accent with a hint of scottish, or something along the lines of that

I thought I was the only one who thought Grady was a gnome.. I saw the confession and I was relieved to see I wasn’t the only one- I didnt think Edaline was a gnome though (I realized quickly that they were both elves though)

I hate Sophie. She checks out almost every box for being a Mary Sue. Her personality is boring and for a while I wanted her to die and the perspective to change to Keefe or Fitz.
Fitz gets overhated. Ik he was a jerk to Sophie when she wouldn't tell him her biological mom, but for the most part he was supportive of her throughout the book and even apologized to her afterwards. Ik he was also jealous, but can you really blame him considering Sophie was neglecting her relationship with him but was spending almost all her free time with Keefe (who he knew had a crush on her)?

Hey, not to be rude at all but mind if I give some constructive criticism about this?
To be honest if you showed this to younger me I would have totally agreed. But after some actual thought and consideration, I completely changed my mind. Sophie has really took a turn especially in the last book. She literally, I kid you not you can check the book, said that she was proudly burning down the storehouse. And when everyone was celebrating what they got, she claimed it wasn’t enough.
For the hole Sofitz thing, they were literally in a war were if another election happened it would not only give the Neverseen a opening to attack, but also put a lot of stress on the people. But this dude only thought of himself. Plus she avoided Fitz cause of the fact that he screamed at her anytime they hung out. She was legit scared.
Like I said at the beginning, I used to totally agree, but maybe take a step back and try to calm down so you can read the series with out wanting to rip your hair out.😅
@@Ellie-br3ke I'm just now realizing you commented this lol. I actually quit the series after Legacy. Sophie had started to develop a personality, but I wouldn't say it's a good personality. She started to seem arrogant and kind of self-righteous imo, although I'll admit I might be biased. So even if she's not exactly a Mary Sue anymore, she's still not a character I personally enjoy. As for Fitz, I think the scenes you're talking about are in Unlocked, which I haven't read, so I can't really give a proper opinion on that. I do agree that he's overbearing, selfish at times, and not a great guy, but I also don't think he was this massive, horrible jerk everyone was making him out to be, either (at least pre-Unlocked, I have no idea what his character is like now).

I mean, I had very mixed opinions about linh I loved the fitzsphie ship before they were a thing. And that one part of the book that linh blush’s after fitz complemented her I threw my book across the room. Now I support the kophie ship and I now know that fitz doesn’t deserve her 😅
