  • The Olympic Park Extreme Zipline in Park City, Utah, was built in 2010. One braking-related accident. The builder failed to accurately design the spring system. After changing the friction brake, the operators failed to provide a test run of the trolley and properly seat the friction brake before sending a patron (Nancy's Stroy) down the zipline. Brake tests are always required after a brake change
Olympic Park's 500-foot zipline was the steepest zip line in the world in 2010. It provides visitors with an exhilarating experience as they zip down the mountain following the giant ski jump.
