Big Salute and respect for Loco Pilot, Sir I can really understand, how difficult your job and your life is. Indian Railway s must think about facilities like cabin temparture, washroom etc.
I think that is why the newer locos like WDP4D, WDG4D, WAG12B, and so on, have air conditioning and washrooms. In a few years, I believe that Indian Railways would phase out the old locos, and these new locos could make life more bearable for the locopilots

Night duty is the worst part of this locopilot duty. But salary is somewhat good..even we take rest we get sleep after 3.00hrs in morning,controlling that Is the difficult thing

Being a LP We always think what is people's perspective about our job. I ve seen so many people complain about our working profile ; yes it's not a white collar job u ve to work day & night; sometimes 16 hrs a day without any rest and refreshment; It is one of the toughest job in India; It requires mental and physical stamina. So guys a Loco Pilot demands some basic human amenities and a little respect from Railways .
No matter what anyone says but for me loco pilot will be the coolest job.. since childhood trains are part of every Indian kids life. Thanks and lots of respect to all the loco pilots for their hard work

This is not even comfort level. But basic human necessity. How to manage always without rest room :'-(. Indian railways still long way to improve, sorry to say. It is human rights violation of the LP, ALP. Imagine women staff then. Nothing changed in 75 years, so very sad!
Train operations me koi nahi bhi rahega par loco pilot aur signalman akele apne dum par operate kar sakte hain. Loco pilot is the frontline soldier of railway. 🙏 I am section controller , trained as station master and guard also in my apprentice period. I can say without any doubt, loco pilot's duty is the toughest.
My dad also was a b grade locopilot who operated various goods train and military train in nfr zone lumding division. Every locopilot of indian railways is a real life hero. They can be compared with indian army. Main problems are - toilet, food, sleep , fog etc etc. I am proud of my dad

New locos are coming with Ac's and washrooms. But their availability for all the lp and alp's are difficult. I hope within 5-10 yrs most of the locos will be equipped with these basic amenities.
AC won't be there ever. It should not be. They have keep their windows open all the time for signalling purpose and clarity. Metro is a completely different case.

Thanks bhai for making such videos, we are able to know hardships faced by Rail Employees. The hardship show that no attention was given to Railway by Govt which can be seen on budget allocation prior to 2014.
Bahot badhiya ,Easy, safe, high Payment in lakhs , less physical hard work , high allowances & facility job in Indian Railways with less Education criteria. Lucky people in India from billions Population very few get chance. Way way better than road transport drivers, Truck Bus driver is very risky & less payment & facility Job. Jai hind jai Bharat🇮🇳

Well it's lovely & exciting to see how a train runs on track ,it looks exciting to see the crew taking charge of duty & handing over his duty to his counterparts at the end of his trip but it is not so easy as it looks though I am not a loco pilot but a part of Indian Railways. Some of my friends r work as loco pilot .they often share us about the difficulties, and abnormal situations occurs in their day to day working life still they accept the challenges to support the railway to achieve the goal by work ing during summer when temperature goes 45_50 degree inside the cab. So authorities of IR. Should some time come to ground reality & do some convenience for those who work day& night,rainy or summer& winter when people take comfort either in AC, blanket or under the roof.

Well it's lovely & exciting to see how a train runs on track ,it looks exciting to see the crew taking charge of duty & handing over his duty to his counterparts at the end of his trip but it is not so easy as it looks though I am not a loco pilot but a part of Indian Railways. Some of my friends r work as loco pilot .they often share us about the difficulties, and abnormal situations occurs in their day to day working life still they accept the challenges to support the railway to achieve the goal by work ing during summer when temperature goes 45_50 degree inside the cab. So authorities of IR. Should some time come to ground reality & do some convenience for those who work day& night,rainy or summer& winter when people take comfort either in AC, blanket or under the roof.
