I'm a goods guard in South Central Railway. Many times guard's belongings or even guards itself fall down from running train. It's very difficult job. Rare to rarest chance you go to home within 8 hours otherwise it takes 12+ hours always.

The guard van in goodstrain must have a pucca washroom, lights and a safety latch outside to prevent the guard from falling out due to jerks.

..... another thing persons other than running staff may not know, is that guards have to experience severe jerking time to time and they get little time to save themselves from any injury.

50k to 70k starting hai nobody cares dude. One of highest salary. Facilities should be there but can't complain.
This is injustice..... Government should make Wash room and Comfortable seat for goods gaurd Cabin...
When we are able to run Semi Speed high trains like Vandhe Bharat Express why cannot the Railways provide decent wash room facilities for Gaurds Cabin in Goods Train. They should also be provided with security Gaurd to Protect them at Night. Thanks Dhhanjay Ji for highlighting their issues thru this eye opener Award Winning Video. Next time When i travel comfortably in Reserved coaches i shall defenitely feel sad Thinking about these Railway personnel who are doing their daily duty with great dedication and sincerity. Loco Pilot cabins should also be provided with Washroom facilities. Fully enjoyed this Highly informative and Educative video. i have subscribed for your channel.

CONTENT IS GOOD. THE DUTY OF GOODS GUARD IS NOT DISCUSSED. BUT IN THE "TRAVEL WITH INDIAN RAILWAY GUARD" VIDEO IT HAS BEEN DISCUSSED VERY WELL. PERHAPS IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE DUE TO OFFICIAL RULE. HOWEVER, OVERALL VIEW FROM GUARD VAN IS VERY GOOD. INDIAN RAILWAY MUST CONSIDER THE PROBLEM OF A GOODS GUARD. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO.

i sincerely believe their working conditions need to be improved. Providing basic sanitation facilities is not a big deal. I also wonder how the goods guards take care of themselves in the night cos in case of goods train, robbery is a matter of concern so how do they protect themselves. Being alone in a long train at the far end on isolated stretches of track gives me goosebumps.
