RIP 2 THE 1 & ONLY, MR. ROBIN WILLIAMS, AGAIN, CHICAGO'S VERY OWN
I was going thru and finding as many videos with Robin Williams as I could and found this beauty. I absolutely LOVE Billy, Whoopie and Robin together. I don't care what or where they were. They complimented each other. Whoopie and Billy had such a close relationship with Robin. Just totally amazing, the three of them. I went into shock when it was announced that Robin Williams had passed away. I know many many of his actor/comedian friends did also. Love and miss you Robin, you were and always will the best.
@@MTVCOPS If I remember right, it was a video from when Robin, Whoopie and Billy were on Phil Donahue being interviewed about doing Comic Relief or something like that to raise funds for the homeless.
I loved the beginning when Billy Crystal could tell that Robin just couldn't stand not bursting out of his chair into a full fledged, high energy hour of comedy with Robin. He was just like a little kid. And Billy looks over out of the corner of his eye and lovingly says, "Just sit for awhile." ...and Robin quietly says 'Okay. Put away the cheese whiz?!' They must miss him so much. All these years later and I wish we could see him here. Epic comedy trio. Amazing man. #RobinWilliams
I’ve never been the laugh out loud kind of person. But when Robin Williams first came onto the scene many years ago he literally made me laugh till I cried. He brought something out in me that I’ve never felt before. I loved this man for the way he could take you anywhere through laughter. I cried the day he passed away. The first thing I thought of was that old expression ‘the tears of a clown’. Rest In Peace, Robin.... 💜
Robin played a comedy show at the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood before he passed and I couldn't go. And when he passed I just felt so bad I wish I could have been there to tell him how much I loved him it broke my heart. He brought me so much laughter all my life and I thank him for that. Rest in peace my friend.

He didn't commit suicide over depression. It was due to Lewy Body Dementia. Crystal knew what Williams was enduring and it was horrific. It was euthanasia.
I miss his brilliance and intelligence. I wish his problems woukd have been known. His men Jonathan Winters suffered from severe depression. Hopefully he is at peace.

FINALLY! An old video with the commercials from the time included! I love seeing these 3 together, especially after seeing a video of Billy and Whoopi talking about Robin’s passing shortly after it happened. This funding for the homeless was huge in the 90’s. I wish this value had continued this value into the 21st century.
These three together were Pure Magic...💖💖💖. Robin Williams unknowingly struggling with an aggressive case of Lewy Body Dementia (which at first mimics Parkinson's disease...) goes to show that disease doesn't discriminate.
Thank you for posting this it's original form. Americans tend to have such short term memories. The format, the ads, the conversation, and especially seeing how out of touch and "un-current" a host of a major syndicated show could be, are all very important parts of our missing legacy. The homeless. Wow. Bless their hearts. They tried. Like pissing in the wind or swimming against the tide. Thanks again for this historic and entertaining glimpse into our past.
There are some who are so brilliant that their light shines long after they're gone. Robin, Billy and Whoopie are such people. If only we could have provided Robin enough substance to help him overcome his tragic illness here without seeking another escape. We should continue helping the homeless as a means of reflecting our appreciation for the work of these three decent human beings who represent “the better of our angels.”
Whoopie is miserable and now considers herself a victim of horrible racist white people who have kept her oppressed.
