As impressive as your knowledge of cars is, how you treat people with respect and genuine interest is "The Most Stunning" and more legendary than some of your other legendary achievements. Seeing you daughter do the same, as well as your company as a whole, shows that it isn't just a stunt for the camera. Well done.
I've lived in the Plano area for over 30 years and am fairly familiar with Collins Bros. Jeeps from way back, but don't know the Collins' personally. I bumped into him in Barnes and Noble in Plano, TX, looking at house plan books a couple of years ago. I'm not one to interrupt celebrities living their lives, but, I decided to just comment down the aisle that I enjoyed his stuff. He was very friendly, paused from what he was doing and spoke very personably. No cameras, no one else around. Could have blown me off. But, a genuinely engaging personality.
Honestly Dennis is such a class act. He is living proof that you don’t need to swear or be crude in anyway and always be a gentleman and always be honest and you’ll get ahead. I wish others were like him but he is unfortunately quite rare.
Dennis, I think it is commendable how you handled this situation. I believe not many buyers would spend the time to education the sellers as you do. Nice video and fan for life.
This is what I like about Dennis, he doesn’t try to steal a car and actually tells people what they have and why it’s special. He’s respectful and honest.
Stunning. The 67 most easily identified by the lack of side marker lights and front vent windows. My best friend's mom had a 67 rs/ss convertible, 350 4 speed growing up. Blue, white top and white front stripe on the nose. Canadian car. As a boy I remember it with side pipes and Cragars before it was restored. My mom was driven to the hospital in labour with my sister in it. In 1975. When you mentioned cocktail shakers I about fell over. I was told they were called "martini shakers" for weight distribution when I was a boy. 35 years ago. Thanks for doing your part in keeping the legacy of musclecars alive, as well as glorious examples of the musclecar era alive! Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Same reasons make 68 just as easy to identify no wing windows and has side marker lights. And one other thing the mirrors on 67 are round and are square on the 68. This car has the wrong mirror on it.
I've owned a 1967 RS/SS 350 4spd conv. for 33years. Finding one that is a real car let alone a Pacer in original condition is rare. I'm happy to see you found the car Dennis, you will do right by it and preserve it's history. Congratulations, you are a true gentleman and always treat people with respect.
These guys are just some cool car guys and I hope they decide to start a channel showing off their cars and finds. Bravo Dennis for being fair honest and upfront with them. Class Act hope to see them sell some more cars soon
I know this car! I have been friends of the original owner my whole life. The original owner was GM executive for the GM plant in Bedford, Indiana. I remember the car sitting in his garage with the pace car decals on it. I know he didn't drive it much and it would sit during the winters if not longer.
Thanks, interesting to me to…From WARSAW: much time in “INDY:”, etc, BOARD OF pharmacy,Work, MUSEUSMS ALL MY life. Interestingly, I hit Indy 500 in 1966( ARMY ROTC: Honor Guard Purdue, SSG) with big Crash/ Smoke .. we Trooped the Colors, for Parades….incredible so long ago, yet memories, we relocated to HELENA Valley, MT in SEP 2016…….TO SEE kids, Gramdkids…. Anyways, darned if remembering my Neighbor in Wilmot: got a 67 CAMARO/4 Sp/ RS gauges from Hefner Chevrolet( BIG DEALER)… Do remember some about the INDY CAR SELECTIONS EACH YEAR, & great Historical.. thouhg do remember Pace Cars in 50’s?.. e.g Chrysler, 55 ?. Thanks
I posted a minute ago. I have a 70 Challenger RT 4 speed bought new at Sciscoe Dodge in Bloomington. I know the original owner to it. There are some jewels in the Bedford area. Original owner 4 speed Super Bee, and two-four barrel early sixties Chevy Bel Aire.
I'm from Evansville, found a Oldsmobile dealership sign on Bloomington Craigslist 12 years ago. Guy was in Bedford and thats where I picked it up. $200 bucks, deal of the century for me being hard-core Oldsmobile guy.
I've watched 100's of car videos.....coffee walk....is the best....Dennis Collins....has tons of class....honest.....truthful......treats others with respect....and gets it in return.....more importantly.....he doesn't put up with any BS!....+....he has command of the English language w/o the use of any profanity!....how refreshing.
I really like your show. Just started following you on TH-cam. I never got to watch your TV show but now that I'm retired I have the time. I like the way you treat the people you work with and the people you purchase your cars from. You are a true gentleman. God Bless you and your family
Awesome series of well presented episodes, butt the absolute kicker that top these off is the brilliant way Dennis promotes and supports the local businesses in each town he visits. Love it, well done Dennis. 👌
Hi Dennis. You Sir have restored my faith in human nature. Not too often you come across a honest business man in the classic car world. That is why you are successful in life. Great to see you take the guys and family out for brunch. Cheers from Australia.
Best show in a while, Dennis. Love the respect you show for everyone and the positive influence - always willing to teach folks what you know. Stay well and continued success.
Cool find Sir…glad it’s in your hands. Dennis I have to applaud you for being a consummate gentlemen and for consistently giving a local restaurant/bar a plug. My hats off to you Sir! Love your videos and can’t wait for the next one.
You just have to love the history of each vehicle. It tells a story like none other. That's why I just love coffee walk. Dennis is the wealth of, information and you will never go wrong.
You're not just flipping cars, you're building relationships, which is what successful businessmen do. But you already know that! God Bless you and your family and crew!
Coffee Walk is always at the top of the list for watching when ever Dennis and Team post a new video! You don't have to tell Dennis to keep it classy BC he wrote the damn book on class. GYSOT Richard!! 😬😜
I have watched many of these and I like how you did not belittle the young guys but educated them on what they had and how to actually read the numbers. I really like in the last few videos I have seen that you buy dinner and make it a specials deal for the family involved. Keep em comin Dennis
Morning D...Speaking On The 0 4 Description Of The Scenario Of Especially As Early As This Pace Car,...VERY INFORMATIVE !!!! Nice Purchase & Real Nice Lunch With Family !!!! Keep Em- Comeing D !!!!....
Dennis, My Dad was a salesman at Chase Chevrolet in Bedford, IN. his name was Les, possibility exist his name would be on the paper work. I know for a fact he sold the only dealership 69 Pace Car to one of his friends. White hugger Orange stripes/hounds-tooth inter. 350/350hp. Dad took Cliff and his new Camaro out highway E50 straightaway and showed him the taillamps on his demo 69 Chevelle SS 396/375+hp underrated, later determined 405hp. I was 10 dad let me sit on the console of that Chevelle and pull second I can still hear that rock crusher Muncie whine. Great show Thank You !
Love this channel, so glad you dont have that obnoxious wannabe way out of his league tag along Rawlins with you, you seem to be a much more honest genuine chap Dennis.. Keep up the AWESOME WORK😎👍🏻
Dennis is a class act, first rate guy. What Impresses me is his willingness to share his knowledge to the car sellers and the public in general to make the car owner or buyer a more educated individual.
all this brings back memories for me. i am 64, my dad sold new Chevy's in the 60s, every year he would take us up to the show room to see the new arrivals. i remember all the muscle cars when they were new sitting in the show room. then in the 70s when i grew up by then dad had a few different used car lots. i grew up working on and driving and having these machines. i just retired from a 45 year career as a professional transmission rebuilder/shop owner,,,,,,,
Dennis, You the Man. Happy Fathers Day. You are always teaching someone. And so respectful of kids. VERY admirable. Love your youtube channel. tim in new mexico
Dennis Collins is a fascinating guy. He has obviously spent decades becoming one of the worlds top negotiators, but more often than not it seems like it has become more valuable to him to foster relationships with potential future connections than rake them over the coals on one single deal.
I like the concept of this show: buy a car, often travelling half-way across the country, explaining the origin of the car, paying the agreed price, and then buying the sellers lunch or dinner in their favorite restaurant! Very respectfull guy, this mr. Dennis Collins!
Dennis COLLINS IS A CLASS ACT would love to know this guy personally just an all around decent person but for now i will just keep watching everything he puts on the tube and will run across a cool car one day and i will call him thats one of my goals lol i better get busy I am 71 years young but still a car nut keeping my 95 vet up is one of my retirement projects any way keep it up Dennis I am lovin it
Dennis really like this channel and wanted to say how generous you are with your money. I'm aware you are rich but there's a lot of rich people out there that are tight asses and you are not. You understand it's one life and you can't take it with you!
I respect you never budge on price when you arrive that's a rare thing in the UK and your kindness pays off. Your always kind to people that's how you earn respect great video
Dennis always treating people fair and with respect .You are a class act my friend keep up the great content . Hopefully we get to see you with a national TV show soon. Thank you.
If I lived in Texas o would drive hours to have you guys service our Jeep. Your know, edge and the way you treat people makes you a legend in the business.
Thanks Dennis for being a Steward of car history and rescuing these vehicles from being turned into something that can’t be saved. My first car was a 1964 Chevelle SS with a 327. Midnight blue with sky blue interior. I didn’t do much but maintain it because I didn’t know that much about cars. It was beautiful and I paid $2600 for it in late 1986. Great paint solid body. It could have had some tweaking but it was a looker. I found a picture of what mine looked like but it belonged to someone else. Only thing I have to reference it when I explain it to people. Sold it 2 years later for $ 2900 after being in Engineering school in Colorado. For 2 years and needing book money. I saw it on a holiday trip back home to Indiana the following summer and it had beet t boned on the passenger side but the kid still drove it. Haven’t had a hobby car since but after watching your channel I’ve become a huge Jeep fan. Thanks again for keeping it real and passing on your passion and knowledge to people that might not have the channels to find out the huge resources there are available. Thanks again. Stew from Telluride Colorado.
Glad to see such a genuine car guy, no brashness and demeaning comments, Yes he will resell and earn a living from it and the guys he bought it off are doing the same, or else this could have been another 1st Gen that ends up as a pile of rust.BTW there is also an added line on the Pace car cowl tag special fleet code I have an O-1 67 (the O denotes a special paint finish ,lacquered) , 061-A here in the UK owned it for the past 38 years
Dennis the person I want to become as an adult just the way he treats people is amazing now in days everyone is running no time to socialize and Dennis just takes his time with people!
This man should have a series on television!!! Amazing guy with an encyclopedic knowledge of cars!! I look forward to every friday to watch your new videos. Thanks for all that you do!
Dennis is a true class act. Cares about the cars more than money. Haven't seen him "haggle" over the price much, unless the car wasn't as advertised. Richard would've tried to steal the car and think about a quick flip for profit and would've let someone else restore it. I love Chevelles, I would've liked to seen the Chevelle too. Even if it wasn't 4 sale. 🇺🇸👍 Learned much about pace cars too.
pretty good in todays world you reep what you sow and I think dennis has proved that in these videoes and also thanks for these great videos and to all that put these videoes together, like dennis says you cannot make this stuff up another great find bringing the old cars back to life. thank you.
great video really enjoyed it.would love to see that car when it is finished.love to see these important pieces of history saved.I agree that it was awesome the way you treated these guys
I just found your TH-cam channel...Very interesting and educational...I am 64 and I love learning new things every day.... I will probably forget it tomorrow..🤷♂️
Dennis is the real deal! Not too many car flippers would let the less educated sellers know how rare a vehicle is and pay them for it for what it is and not try to rip them off.
Knew from the title you were coming here! I live in Indy. Great find however there's a pace car I know of that if still around I would imagine be some sort of holy grail. I actually used to work for Eldon Palmer, you may know the story. Before he passed away few years ago at around 98 yrs old, he owned the Palmer Dodge dealerships, Kenworth, Paclease and more and he drove his 71 Challenger convertible as the ACTUAL pace car to start Indy 500, had Astronaut John Glenn, Tony Hulman whom owned the track and a news guy in the car then after successfully starting the race, comes down pit road and crashes into media grandstand injuring 29 people. You probably already knew all this but you never know so figures I'd share. Also just found that in 2006 a guy named Steven Cage bought and restored the car and displays it at his RPM Collection in Fishers Indiana. Huge fan of the show and all you guys do. Thanks
Very cool car Dennis! I have tried to buy a 69 Indy Pace car here locally since 1978! Each year I give it a try! It's a 350, 4 sp. car that has been in this old garage since 1978! When I was a ten year old the lady at the local corner market bought it new. I would go there for a coke or snack and drool on that car. It was the car that really got me hooked on Camaros! I have owned one 67 RS & 8 69 Camaros through the years. However this one hasn't run in all those years in fact when he got it in 78 he pulled the engine to rebuild it and it's still sitting on the floor right where he dropped it way back then! Oh well I will keep on trying to get it! Good luck on the restoration project I will follow it for sure!
Dennis is such a good dude. Met him once at Barrett Jackson West Palm. Guy was so nice to talk to me for a few minutes even though I was just a random face in the crowd.
Dennis, you are an awesome and very fair man. The way you treat people does not go unnoticed ! Hope you find many more great cars and bring us along for the ride. Thanks bruh !
This may sound odd, but whoever shoots your videos has the audio down perfect. Editing and everything else is great, but the audio is outstanding. Those birds in the background sure sounded happy, didn't they? And the "crunching" sound of everyone walking on the gravel makes the viewer feel like they're walking right there with you.
Can you imagine what those two guys said about Dennis when it was over? I mean the guy doesn't go back and renegotiate AND he shows them how to decipher the vin Tag so that if they run across another they know what to look for and who to call. Class act!
Dennis, I have been binge watching Coffee Walk on TH-cam for the last week or so from Melbourne, Australia. Your knowledge of all cars American and European is amazing. Re the Mazda I had one of these in my 20’s in Australia and they were called a Mazda RX2 Capella, the RX signifying a rotary engine. They were a fast car in Australia back then but they loved a drink. I was the third owner and unfortunately the apex seals went ( a common problem back then) but my father knew a dealer and I was able to get a new engine for zero dollars. Not sure they are worth a US 100k now all though that one is a 2 door and the Aussie ones were all 4 door. Anyway keep up the the good work. Cheers.
Fantastic car my pop had an O1 here in Indy as a company car, and of course it was used for the parade and other 500 festival events. Those were great times.
As previously posted, Dennis does a great job as not only a fantastic car historian, but as a gentleman. Great information, engaging content, keep up the good work Dennis.
As impressive as your knowledge of cars is, how you treat people with respect and genuine interest is "The Most Stunning" and more legendary than some of your other legendary achievements. Well said.. Seems like a total legit guy. Doesn't talk down or insult anyone. And teaching the youth 👍
Well said and put!!
Wow! You learn about cars AND find some interesting places to eat.
Way better then the gas monkey fool
Honestly Dennis is such a class act. He is living proof that you don’t need to swear or be crude in anyway and always be a gentleman and always be honest and you’ll get ahead. I wish others were like him but he is unfortunately quite rare.
Exactly... stay classy people.. no swearing !

i thought he did too. Its actually a good business decision. It get people interested in finding cars for him.
These vidieos are done in order to be informative, it's why I watch
Yep. That's why I just subbed. No dirty tricks with this guy.
Dennis is passing it on to the next generation and he is a true gentleman. The world needs more of him,
Buying the guys a dinner is as decent as always. Puts a smile on my face seeing Dennis do such a nice gesture 👍 top man
Well sure, had to smooth over the deal so when he makes over 3 figures on this car, he won't feel guilty.
And being 100% transparent. A gem of a business man
This is what I like about Dennis, he doesn’t try to steal a car and actually tells people what they have and why it’s special. He’s respectful and honest.
This channel should have a million subs easily.
This is top quality youtube.
Easy for sure
Car people are a dying breed, unfortunately. Soon all cars will be appliances.
Yea but this new age of “car” guys are too into donut media type garbage 🗑
Another idiot thinking that 1 million people should like what he likes..
Man when Dennis starts rattling off the facts and figures , it’s like a genius at work.
Awesome .
Nice of u Dennis not taking advantage of people like ur friend richard ..but please start showing what u do with all this buys

Glad to see such a genuine car guy, no brashness and demeaning comments, Yes he will resell and earn a living from it and the guys he bought it off are doing the same, or else this could have been another 1st Gen that ends up as a pile of rust.BTW there is also an added line on the Pace car cowl tag special fleet code I have an O-1 67 (the O denotes a special paint finish ,lacquered) , 061-A here in the UK owned it for the past 38 years
My favorite part of these videos are the detailed reviews of the trim tags and VINs. So much information, and so fascinating.
Dennis the person I want to become as an adult just the way he treats people is amazing now in days everyone is running no time to socialize and Dennis just takes his time with people!
Having someone come out and explain the numbers breakdown, would be just plain awesome. Now that’s a priceless experience
This man should have a series on television!!! Amazing guy with an encyclopedic knowledge of cars!! I look forward to every friday to watch your new videos. Thanks for all that you do!
Always respect Dennis with his gentle manner.
Like 'Coffe Walk', Dennis is a genuine person with a great crew.
Nothing better than a 67 Camero, rare or regular or just plain with no options!!! Congrats on the find!!!
Learned much about pace cars too.
Dennis is a walking encyclopedia!
Great to watch and such a nice guy
Damn, your amazing finds just never stop. Thanks for taking us along.
Swiped it right out from under my nose.. this man knows how to do business and get things done. Hats off to you sir.
Definitely the coolest car you've ever shown on your channel.
Audi A8L W12 - simply the best.
Greetz from Germany.
Dennis is the definition of Class. Thanks for taking me along on these automotive history lessens. So cool!
I love watching you videos.
Because you are such a
stand up guy. You always
treat everyone with respect.
And you educate all with
your car knowledge.
pretty good in todays world you reep what you sow and I think dennis has proved that in these videoes and also thanks for these great videos and to all that put these videoes together, like dennis says you cannot make this stuff up another great find bringing the old cars back to life. thank you.
great video really enjoyed it.would love to see that car when it is finished.love to see these important pieces of history saved.I agree that it was awesome the way you treated these guys
No, Dennis, I don't think he knew who you were when he rented that car to you. LMFAO
Best channel on TH-cam, Dennis is a great presenter and the camera work and production are awesome.
Can't expand on the other's comments other than to say you're channel is truly refreshing. Class act. Now I wish I still had my old c.j 7 limited!
First for the Holy grail, one of one rarest of the rare, killer, gysot pace car
Class act helping others in the trade...educating them on what to look for to prove it is a pace car....
Wicked cool find and always love the learning that goes on with this channel!! And then you take the sellers out for lunch....NICE!!
Thanks DENNIS 💪👍🇺🇸🏁🏎️🚙🛺🚜🚓🏍️🛫🌄🌎🥇🚗🚙🚐👕🛡️📯⚔️🛡️📯📢🔔💡🎯🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸🏁🛡️
Dennis is such a good dude. Met him once at Barrett Jackson West Palm. Guy was so nice to talk to me for a few minutes even though I was just a random face in the crowd.
What an amazing encyclopedic knowledge of cars Dennis has, and such a nice guy!!
Dennis you are the most honest sales rep/ salesman ever! Thank You!
4P L48 350 295... 2LG 4 speed w/console, 3SL interior decor rally sport, 5Y deluxe belts, 732 bright blue custom buckets, C1 ermine white, white top
We were going for “Car Buy ASMR”. 😂😂😂
@@patternsdigitalmedia Oh!! Then you nailed it!! 😬😂👍
Can you imagine what those two guys said about Dennis when it was over? I mean the guy doesn't go back and renegotiate AND he shows them how to decipher the vin Tag so that if they run across another they know what to look for and who to call. Class act!
He is right about the RX2. Worth gold here in New Zealand and Ausi. But we are right hand drivers so it would generaly be converted.
Cheers.
Dennis is honesty is why his business is. Doing. Great
Fantastic car my pop had an O1 here in Indy as a company car, and of course it was used for the parade and other 500 festival events. Those were great times.
Awesome find by those guys and awesome buy for you Dennis. Keep up with the great videos.
As previously posted, Dennis does a great job as not only a fantastic car historian, but as a gentleman. Great information, engaging content, keep up the good work Dennis.
Dennis and crew, well ya'll found another one!! God Bless!!!
