This movie was the first movie that made me cry in public without caring who was watching... That's mostly because everyone around me was crying too...and I'm not talking about just girls...I mean the toughest of people... It just goes to show, this movie reaches out to people's hearts and minds. It creates a bond between all people,regardless of who they are, where they've come from, or what their culture is like.
the widow and youngest daughter of Gene Morehouse moved into the house down the street from me in the summer of 1979. I am lucky enough to have met all the Morehouse children. They are all an amazing family.
I'm English, never been to the US let alone huntington.. But totally fell in love with the movie and the tragic story behind it... RIP those lost that fatal day. We are..
