Thank you very much for the very useful information. I was having trouble understanding the explanation on the official website. This video helped me understand how to attach files.
Since I've filmed this, they've altered it slightly. You'll need to modify your form for the model-driven app. When looking at it, go to Components and add a Timeline control wherever you want. After that, you're golden.
At around 2:53 you mentioned SharePoint as a data storage for these file attachments. Some questions: - How do you enable that feature; and - How do you specify which SharePoint site to use?
Hi Brian, when I create a new note through Project Coordinator, I can't get it to display in the web list. Is it possible to make this relationship, to exchange files between Project Coordinator and WEB? (in the list from WEB, I enabled the function of displaying details but, the contact just see your file)
Please mention more about note and relationship you made. I did the same and got the upload control but on loading page it is not showing the functionality
Hi Brian At around 5.49, you mentioned the relationship while creating child permission, But when I am doing I am not getting any relationship below..... How to solve this? Am I missing something??
@PragmaticWorks thanks again. How can I access my attachments in my tables after uploading the attachment? Even in the created view, I don't seem to find it.
Question on Permissions. Regarding Contact Access Type. How can I create a relationship related to it so that the specific authenticated user can only see what they created in the list?
how do I upload files to SharePoint using Power pages upload files functionality? where can i find the setting for SharePoint within the Portal management app?
Thanks for tutorial, very useful For some reason I cannot see any relationship when trying to add child permission with Note table. So I thought maybe I need to add a lookup column in Notes table to Proposals table, but when I am trying to add a new column to Note table all the fields are greyed out 🙄 Anybody have an idea what I am doing wrong? Thanks

@@PragmaticWorks Hi, can you show how to add this into power pages portal?
Great series of helpful videos! At minute 7:48 you mention creating easier ways to view web files. Will this be a future video?
I would love to see this as well. I want to click on an attachment pdf in my portal form and have it open in browser.

You turn it on at a table level and can tell it where to go at an environment-level under Advanced Settings. I show turning that on at 7:03.

@PragmaticWorks thanks again. How can I access my attachments in my tables after uploading the attachment? Even in the created view, I don't seem to find it.
For some reason i cant see that option in my Power Apps dashboard, do they move it?
Thanks Brian - One question that comes to mind - how to the users see their documents after upload in the Portal?
There's an option to see notes under metadata or you can also use a file data type to just show it natively :).
How can we have multiple upload controls for a single table?
Is it possible to attach the pdf files and show let's say a list of pdf files on a new page
this only workds for authenticated users? not annonymous?
Works either way. For example, you might want an anonymous form for a contact us form.
does this only apply to authenthicated users? I dont believe anonymous users can upload files
While you can do it for anonymous users, it might not make sense from a security side.
Question on Permissions. Regarding Contact Access Type. How can I create a relationship related to it so that the specific authenticated user can only see what they created in the list?
Absolutely. I have a follow up video in this series about that.
how can get direct url file uploaded ?
