    I think the question "Yo, what's the deal with the island?" is still a good question to ask.

      Yeah, but they wouldn't answer it before the final season has aired. They're still not really answering it, lol

    (LOST ANSWERS)
    Question: What was that big (Hurley) bird we see in the season 1 finale?
    Answer: Another animal experiment the (Dharma Initiative) were doing, they were also doing this with the (Polar Bears) on the island.
    Question: Why was (Walt) Special?
    Answer: The island is (Special) Rose's cancer has gone, Locke can walk, Desmond see's the future, Hurley is not cursed, ect... so its the island that makes them special.
    Question: Why was (Libby) in the mental Institution?
    Answer: She said her husband passed away, maybe it was stress from her loss and that's why she was in the mental home.
    Question: What was the (Flash Sideways) world in season six?
    Answer: It was a (Purgatory) world the characters created for themselves, all the island story was real, when everyone finally passed away they all meet in that would and then they Move On together.
    LOST: SEASON SIX FINALE, EXPLAINED!!
    Okay a lot of people don't understand the ending to lost, so I'm going to explain it as simple as I possibly can. All the (Island Story) was REAL it 100% happened, okay so now we are clear on that, lets move on. The (Flash-Sideways) were a "Purgatory" world or in better terms (Heaven) and what ever happens in that world like for example (Sawyer) being a cop, (Hurley) has good luck ect is just what they have made, its like a world they have created for themselves until they finally MOVE ON. Now its not until everyone has finally died that they move on together in that church, that could have been 30 years plus depending on when they died, for example (Jack) died on the island at the end of season six, he then entered the (Flash-Sideways) world waiting for the rest to Pass Away so they can move on. Kate could have died 30 years after Jack did, so really the people in the (Purgatory) world could have been waiting a long long time. In the end they all move on together, the people who were not in the church has no (Redemption) or had unfinished business that's why they could not move on YET, Like (Michael) for example he was stuck on the island because he had to earn his redemption back for killing Anna Lucia and Libby.
    Desmond had to put out the LIGHT thinking it would stop the (MIB) and hoping it would keep the island from destroying itself, but really it was JACK that had to keep the LIGHT alive and keep the heart of the island SAFE, so he would not let John Locke's death be in vain. Jack now believed every word Locke was saying about DESTINY. Hurley and Ben take over the Island while in the meantime Jack, Claire, Sawyer, Richard, Miles, Frank, FLY AWAY on the plane. Now the MIB is dead JOHN LOCKE now remembers in the FLASH-SIDEWAYS world.
    Now when they touched each other they had a (FLASH) and that made them remember their best time in the past, and that happens to be the time they spent on the island. They remember each other and then realise they are in a Purgatory world. But yes everything that happened on the ISLAND did in fact happen it was all REAL,

      Just a quick comment, not a criticism: Purgatory and Heaven are not the same thing/place.

      "Question: Why was (Walt) Special? Answer: The island is (Special) Rose's cancer has gone, Locke can walk, Desmond see's the future, Hurley is not cursed, ect... so its the island that makes them special"
      Well tha'ts too easy in my opinion! The island has healing powers for everyone yes but that doesn't explain why Walt in particular was special! Why a lot of people has visions of him sweating in the jungle? Desmond see's the future because he turned the safe key there is a reason! And like Ben said at the end of season 2 "we got more that we hoped for when Walt joined us" why? what did he get? There is no answers!

    • @lestade682
      @lestade682 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Barney Stinson
      Walt "summoned" a bird he had in a book. The bird ended up crashing on a window at his house.
      Walt was special before getting to the island. We got no answer because he grew up very fast and was difficult to explain that growing within the show's timeline.

    I just found this 2010 series of interviews. Thank you , Paley Center, for sticking with the interesting shows and asking the best questions. (AKA WOW, that was close to saying 'whats the ending??" and still getting answers out of the writers.)
    ....but you really should have pressed about where the monkeys were. >_>

    I'd be interested to hear that ideas they scrapped as the series progressed. I'm guessing one of them was the back-story behind Jacob's cabin.

    Jacob was 2000 years old. Why would you think he was 300?
    As for your other questions, they are not answerable. As Mother said, "Every question I answer will simply lead to another question. You should rest. Just be grateful you're alive." (If you need an answer, it's turtles all the way down.)
    (BTW, the Egyptians put the Egyptian stuff there. The island moved quite often, and since Jacob brought people there for 2000 years... Just put 2 and 2 together.)

    What they never really explained is the beginning history of the island and why or who put certain things there.
    That and how old Jacob is compared to the island.
    Is he 2,000 years old or 300?
    Does the island hold significance to the actual creation of earth? Stuff like that needed to be answered because we all know that the island exsisted, but the characters all died at one point in time. Hence the end and the big meet. It was just never explained WHY it was like that either.

    How come Walt had powers BEFORE going to the island?
    How come Desmond didn’t die when the hatch blew up? Surely that’s impossible.

    • @albanovkonrad
      @albanovkonrad 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      1) He just does. Most movies or TV shows that have psychic characters don't explain how they became psychic, you're are just meant to assume they were born that way
      2) The Hatch didn't blow up, it imploded. According to the show's funky (pseudo)science, high exposure to electromagnetic activity can cause teleportation (for example, when Ben turned the wheel and teleported to the desert). This is apparently how Desmond winded up lying in the jungle after turning the key.

    • @masterofdragons82
      @masterofdragons82 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@albanovkonrad Very well said. For the first answer, you could have just said because he was special. I honestly don't know why people ask that question. For the second question it's also because the island thought he had to survive to do something important later on

    So basically the writers clashed and they ran out of time to complete the story and they just killed all the characters in the end. I can't believe how many questions I still have about this show. It's gonna take me awhile to get over this failure.

      I don't have to answer your question, the show was interesting to me, I watched all 6 seasons on netflix, but as I was watching I was waiting for story lines to be explained or completed, but it only led to more questions. So yes because of the all of the unanswered questions, this experience was horrible for me.
