I live in Kentucky and had a uterine ablation when I was 42; I had been bleeding continuously for over twelve months and had a large uterine fibroid. Now I am 52 and do not know if I am postmenopausal. I never had another period after the ablation. The doctors I have seen here will not do bloodwork or anything to help me to know where I am at, and since I am obese, they do not give oral HRT.
