I'm shooting on both again on Monday, I'll try to grab more footage. They are very close. Warmer skin tones on the 12k but it's very big and a pain to rig to a gimbal. The komodox is more versatile imo
I have both . I like the pocket 6k over the OG Komodo. I will say the files are better on the red. The VRAPTER is better though. I haven’t shot with the Komodo X yet so i can’t judge it .
If you need global shutter and small form factor then yes if you’re ok with the size of the 12k then I guess not. In my experience the 12k is just too big for rigging so can be impractical

It’s crazy how close the cameras are… is it just me or does the light seem a little over exposed on the Red? I wish that thing came with false color.
Komodo def has false color.. both models
Just remember Iso does nothing on the Komodo any changes are applied in post so even with false color don't rely on iso to nail exposure

At first I was doubting, but seeing a couple times, the komodo x > mini ursa 12k pro, but is it worth 6500$ extra? 🤔
