- Today we will be discussing my Scalp Micropigmentation to address my hair loss or balding. It was important for me to find a balding solution that fit with my lifestyle. This is only the second session of Scalp MicroPigmentation I’ll also be doing part 3 for the third session of Scalp MicroPigmentation. Let's Get It Cannon Movement Fam! 🔥
The Cannon Movement is about progression in all aspects of life including mental.
Today I want to talk about insecurities and one I battled with for a while. Simply put it was the thinning of my hair and balding. This is why I started looking for options for balding such as Scalp MicroPigmentation.
Everyone can tell you this and tell you that but if you don't like how your hair looks in the mirror. Then it doesn't matter because that's the only opinion that matters.
So I've learned as I've gotten older the best way to battle these things is to own them and not shy away from them.
This isn't a popular thing to do but I'm going to show you the process even in our "Clown you first, ask questions, sympathize later culture" because if I help one other guy or girl that may be struggling with this it's worth it.

The only problem is the shiny scalp reflection which makes the SMP invisible in sharp lighting

Thanks brother, I really appreciate it. It’s definitely a huge difference, I use to have to avoid the rain be extremely careful with even simple stuff like putting my shirt over my head.
I’ll honestly probably still go to Turkey to get the actual FUE done as well. But this is a good solution in the meantime so I don’t feel the pressure to rush and get it done.

You can always see the difference between the real hair and SMP, unless you razor shave, otherwise you can see the difference for sure, from a distance it looks real but not up close, so you have to razor shave if you want it to be undetectable up close
In my opinion, I've seen photos with a little bit of stubble showing and I didn't think it looked that bad, of course it looks better clean shaved but some stubble barely poking out doesn't kill the SMP.
I never have to clean shave it, I only cut it down with my clippers honestly and it looks great to me personally still.
But I understand what you mean if someone is inspecting or looking for it. The average person I’ve encountered doesn’t even notice. I point it out to a few people and they are amazed because they can’t tell lol.

@prabhdeepdhahan1147 Great question, I actually trim my head every 2-3 days depending on how good I’d like it to look. (When it grows too much and u don’t feel like shaving. I’ll just throw on a hat.)

Thank you! I use either my bevel or andis clippers and I cut my hair every 2-3 days to keep it looking like this.
Great video. Question..after its completely healed, close-up does your scalp still look like actual hair follicles or does it look look like your scalp is completely shaded in? Definitely looks great, just wanna know how it looks close-up after it's healed up. Thanks!
That’s a great question, after it’s healed it looks like you have a shaved down head, it gives the appearance that looks like your actually hair does.
I’ll do a TH-cam short so we can both see if it looks like the tiny dots, I haven’t done a close up since then. Great question.

I just finished my 4th session of SMP a week ago and Im waiting to get my zero haircut to see the best results. I heard there are lotions called MATTE that will cut down on the head glare. And they are available at Walmart online. I wasn't all the way bald just top and crown still had peach fuzz and I still had a slight hairline. My cost was $1800, may I ask what was cost for the SMP?
Congratulations, how far apart did you get the 4 sessions? Just out of curiosity. I typically hear people get 3 sessions max and touch ups so 4 sessions has me curious.
Mines was about $3,500 but I did one of his student sessions and got a discount on the pricing.
I was pretty much in the same spot, I had peach fuzz at the top and a barely visible hair line. I actually had them bring down my hair line slightly as well.
Oh yes, I bought some matte style lotion but from follicle I believe it's called.
@@TheCannonMovement My sessions were 7 or 8 days apart. On the 2nd sessions I developed a small sore in the crown area..and we never found out how it got there. So he pretty much avoided that area in the 2nd session. In the 3rd session he covered more area. This guy works slower than most of the guys on the video I noticed. Thats why we decided to have a 4th session. BTW he canceled a session because he was getting new floor and they were not going to be dry, so he gave me a discount of $200! So I actually paid $1600. He said its up to me if I want to come back for a touch up in 2 weeks if I saw something I was concerned about after I get my 1st zero haircut. I see these SMP prices are all over the place huh! Some guys charge more for big market area I guess. Im in Houston Tx
@@russellmania9157 Absolutely, the prices definitely vary but I will say the top guys in the industry are pretty consistently around the same price point I’ve found.
My first session they did the whole head the second one above they added more density and I’ll go back for a third one in 30 days after it’s healed properly they said.

Hey, I believe it’s a good option for you honestly.
Also I don’t feel it’s painful at all, if you have had a tattoo it’s much less pain than that.

Great call out, it’s going good. I still love the look of it and I’ve been using different anti glare products to continue to find the best overall one.

It’s totally dependent on you, but I did my first and second session about 1 month apart.
Also I did a third session about 9 months later to really solidify the density look and color.
I’ll probably do an update video just showing how it looks overtime.
To answer your second question, yes I’d get it done again, I love the fact it gives me framing on my head.
Now in the future I may get FUE as well because I want to grow back my hair up top.
The only con with this is I have to shave 🪒 my head every 2 days max to keep the look.
