- How to give your self a bald fade if you have scalp micropigmentation (SMP) if you don’t want to shave your head completely bald.
In this video I am using the Cordless Andis masters to do the fading along with the gold fx skeleton trimmers by Babyliss pro and the Braun shavers series 9. There’s no need for the use of messy hair fibers or harmful hair dyes like bigen or just for men. No need for painful and scaring hair transplants. That’s how been cutting my hair for the longest time without SMP. But I’ve noticed my thinning is pretty bad. I’ve set up an appt for an SMP procedure for myself, it was about time. I become so interested in SMP, I’m now training to become an artist. Thanks for posting good information!

That hairline is to straight and defined. It looks like it’s been drawn with a ball point pen. Microscopic gaps between dots is essential for a bitty natural look.

The rigid line up smp’s always look fake, it’s best to get the hairline as natural as possible, they are the smp’s that look the best
Thy would be up to the person wearing the Smp don’t you think? This person in this video is a barber and like his line up extra sharp. So to him the natural line up pointless be cause he wants to look like he just got a his favorite type of hair style. That hair line is way to sharp to draw attention to it and then notice it’s fake like a pen or marker drawing

It doesn't look natural at all, I agree. If done properly by a fully trained artist then it should look very organic and realistic.

What do you adjust your clippers to so it won't be bald?
Use a set of clippers with adjustable blades and keep the blades open. In the vid he’s mostly using trimmers that are for shaving and edging only.
To each their own. Just my opinion but if you have gotten SMP done, seems like a lot less of a hassle and way less expensive then getting a bald fade with it. That's so short that you would realistically have to get a haircut every few days (at least with how my hair grows). Nice haircut and no hate, but just doesn't seem worth it over shaving your head.
you're actually saving money after SMP. you can shave your head with the same guard anytime the hair gets longer. then when you feel like it, get a fade by your barber

That's how they shape it when u have actual hair. I'm not bald so when I get my hair cut it looks just like this. It's an edge up.

I wouldn’t recommend it. It would be very hard to know how deep your going into the skin which could potentially be a very big problem.
I'm bald for ten years and I am good with it , but I want my head tatted instead of this.... I guess whatever the people want , everyone is different.... I do have some sun spots and the hair ring that grows back .... My skin is light , so it does drive me crazy... But tatts is what I want.... I just think this is to obvious.... And black people that go bald are lucky. . Became it is alot harder for a light skin black , Hispanic , or white person. Who is bald to hide that ring, and the darker you are it just looks alot better if your bald ...

That's too short he would look better with some real hair left on top n just fade the sides. The SMP looks to unnatural it looks better when blended with a lil natural hair
If he had hair that laid over the Smp then yes but in his case you can see the areas he has no hair so the best look is this short look. But thank you for your feed back!
