In this little series of upcoming Videos I have tried to show what a FULL Download Festival experience is like (in 30°c heat) from Start to finish. I'll be posting 1 video a day at 6PM until we are out of footage & these will be "Premieres" so we'll have a Livechat along the way if thats your thing & yes it's really me typing! ha!😎🤘🏻

A few Ups n Downs
Obviously It was fantastic catching up with all of you! I missed a few (not personal) & we all know how bad the signal is there.
But TBH the social side is probably the best bit about this one for me! & I'm absolutely amazed at the TH-cam feedback! I'm literally filming us doing the dumb crap we'd be doing anyways n always have! Only now you don't doubt it 😂
Band wise personally
Good
Metallica ×2 - Same as always!
Slipknot - Clown was there after all? & Some new stuff!
Electric Callboy - Tiny stage though and rammed!
Avatar!!! - Short set
VV - Hearing that takes me back & makes me feel old!
Bad
Asking Alexandria!!! - So many Vocal tracks/effects he didn't know what to sing too, it was poor. - & I'm gutted about that...
Bring me the Horizon ^^^ But they definitely have committed fans that ignore it! & did deserve the headline regardless of my opinion!
Festival itself

Organisation was utterly Shit!!
Way to Many people!! Oversold & massive queues for not enough facilities.
Not enough Toilets, Bars, Water points, shady areas, polite educated staff & unless you queue up for ages the food you actually want?
But yeah
- I know I'm late to the Party posting these few Pics and will be even longer posting the Vlogs, as:
1. It took us 12 HOURS to drive home on our anniversary yesterday!!! We sat in the car park for 3+ Hours & Had that mad diversion on the M1. UGH!!! But yeah it was exactly the same thing getting into the place 3/5 hours for some people!
2. We are on the biggest comedown of all time struggling to pack for Graspop (Belgium) to which I will be Driving us to tomorrow
3. It is Ruby Miranda Birthday today! 🖤
So yeah onto Belgium!!!
We are absolutely shattered!!!

Ive watched all your festival videos and you do such a good job at being impartial. You cover all the bits that folk want to experience. You and Ruby are a power (metal) couple! Nobody's laughing at you pissing the bed. Its definitely never happened to me. I definitely didn't wake up to my mrs opening the bedroom door and finding me in a pool of piss and saying "oh Ross" my reply was "its just mixers" it happens to us all. Rock on Billy!

I just watched all 7 parts of the Download Fest journey. Although I would probably never attend the fest as I'm into more underground death and black metal, the experience looks fantastic. I'll be watching your channel from here on out. Cheers!!!

Tbh I'd probably prefer the Death Metal scene to this nowadays. This year came with a totally new crowd - to what I can only describe as "Old Reading or Leeds" if that makes sense?
But yeah the experience is what we make it, luckily we know so many people at the UK festivals, it can make a bad time good really quick by just catching up with friends.

First Festival Shower of the year! Ha
I think it was Saturday when I woke up needing a piss and realised I wasn't going to make the toilets. Fortunately I had cups at hand to take a piss into and secretly pour away outside my tent. about 4 cups later I was able to go back to sleep.
And before you get the impression I know what I'm doing, I did shit myself at Download 2012. I bent down to open my tent and the food poisoning hit me. Fortunately it was at night, I was able to ditch all the offending clothes into a bin, clean myself up and when my friends noticed I'd changed my jeans I told them I was fed up of being covered in mud. It wasn't far from the truth.
Anyway, I never really struggled with bar queues this year, the Beer Hall hardly ever had queues and there was a bar between the Apex and the Avalanche stage that didn't have much queuing. Plus they were selling better lager than that Carlsberg piss.
Also, the water points near the Avalanche stage didn't have that big a queue.
That story killed me mate!!!

Great Vlog man! I was at Donington Monsters of Rock in 1981 everybody got showered in piss being thrown around in plastic bottles when watching the bands. It literally was raining piss... Great day though! Keep on Rockin' Billy!!
