I love this remix for many reasons, but one of the biggest things is left at regular speeds, it's a nice and upbeat version of the song we know and love. That said, if you want to listen to the classic tempo, drop it to x0.75 speed, and it's still very good. Not sure if it was intended one way or another, but I enjoy that kind of thing.
After that opening I always searched for the anime. It didnt exist but I always had hope. People may say "oh FF7 was my childhood" but for me it was BoF3, BoF4, and Wild Arms.

people always talk about the ff series when discussing great rpgs but in my mind the bof series was just as good in terms of gameplay and music and this is by far my favorite entry in the franchise to props to ddr kirby for both showing it love and making some fine music as well

There's no anime, but there's a manga out there for the franchise.
Phantasy Star IV was my most played RPG of my childhood personally. Never had a snes so I missed out on a lot of RPGs.
