  • My love of ceramics started in high school where I was exposed to wheel throwing for the first time. I continued to develop that love in college at both Newcomb College of Tulane University and Loyola University of New Orleans. I developed advanced wheel throwing and hand building techniques, while also exploring glaze/clay formulation and different firing methods. While pursuing my graduate degree in social work, I continued to attend workshops and lessons by local ceramic artists. As my work continued to develop, I took great inspiration from other ceramic artists in New Orleans and throughout the South.
In 2021, we moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, where I joined a thriving artist community-specifically one heavily focused in the ceramic arts. Over the past few years, I have continued to refine my point of view, while developing new forms and exploring more advanced and unique glaze and firing techniques.
Today, I work in a private studio space focusing on ceramic sculptures, while continuing to create limited functional pottery for interior design.
