I have all the songs from this live dvd, all separated and labeled in 320 kbps mp3 with fade in and fade out for each song, if you're interested. I did it in Sony Vegas software.
This is a shame. It's REALLY difficult to find a full live concert of these guys. Now that I found one, they absolutely buried the background vocals, which IS the Alabama sound. That said, I'm ashamed to say I really underestimated how solid, and in the pocket Mark Herndon was/is. He's solid as a rock. *And, the slower tempo of these songs, are incredibly difficult to play (especially with shuffles. A slow shuffle is all but impossible to play well, and make "feel" good).* Not only does the tempo of their songs fluctuate in many cases, but there's a lot of space to make mistakes, and speed up, or drag, inadvertently. A band this tight is 100% due to how long they played together. Something only a drummer would appreciate, but he's solid as a rock with it. It's a shame that there was so much friction there, given how important staying together is for the tightness and overall sound of the band. But, I digress... This is exceptional (short of the backing vocals mix).
I appreciate the fact that you put this back on TH-cam because the one I had went away. BUT, WHY DID YOU CUT THE SONGS AND STATEMENTS from the ORIGINAL video? I LOVED the additional stuff you put at the beginning which wasn't on the other download. I knew that download word for word. And early on I said "hey, where's the whole song "? But now I am at "THE CLOSER YOU GET" and there no verses whatsoever! It's ALL CHORUS. I still THANK YOU FOR PUTTING IN UP THO!! MAYBE you can "CUT THE SONGS" back in?? Plus, YOUR VIDEO QUALITY IS VERY, VERY, VERY GOOD!! A JOB WELL DONE 👏! OK, I read the stuff and I apologize for blaming you for the "CUTS" in the songs. It's on the CD that you have and you can't do anything about that. They cut my favorite song which is "LADY DOWN ON LOVE". So, I am going to download another copy. The video quality on this other one is terrible along with the audio but at least the entire song is there. I still love yours the best but I want the whole song and the "back and forth" that Randy had with Teddy and Jeff. I didn't get far enough to find out if they cut the part where Randy went into the audience and shook hands with a row of people?
On a side note - If Alabama's 41 - #'1s video is this long ; George Strait's 61 #-1 hits video would be maybe 6-8 hrs? Talk about entataining to the extreme.
Just AWESOME. Alabama nothing else needs to be said. They will always be my all time favorite Band/ Group. :)
