Why is Lithuania that isolated to his neighborcountries? To Poland and Latvija are only a very few trains during the weekend, though good track routes exist.
This Video is very timely for me. I hope to travel by train from Marijampole to Kaunas on July 23; from Kaunas to Vilnius on July 24; and back to Kaunas on July 25 or 26. The only thing is: 1) I have a small dog (she travels often by air and is happy to be in her travel case); and 2) I don't speak Lithuanian or Polish--just English and French. Is this plan OK?
You should be fine with your doggy, but I'd reccomend to check Lithuanian Railways website to see what's the exact policy to traveling with pets. When I was in Lithuania I spoke inEnglish, and had no problems, but be aware that older people may not understand English.
Hahahah funny question! The whole Lithuania has barely 3 million inhabitants. That's just 0.21% of India's population (1,364 million). That should answer your question
The railway museum has trains and passenger wagons.
What a collection! Best wishes from Croatia! 🤗🇭🇷
Bel video. Ottime riprese. Interessante il traffico viaggiatori e merci. Cordiali saluti (Vicenza Italy)
Уютное видео, приятно посмотреть,просто сидя в кресле и попивая чаёк. Думаю за год на ЛЖД ничего особо не изменилось.
согласен
I have a question. Are the railways in Lithuania and the other Baltic countries on the Russian gauge?
Yes, they are.
Perfect day, perfect video, no better comfort than traveling by train
Nice video from my home country trains :) Did you came only for train spoting?
Yeap, 2 days of pure train spotting.
How much percentage of people speak English in Lithuania
@@suryadevsingh8988 I know this is an old comment but to your question not that many people in Lithuania speak English due to the events of history.

Lithuania well done ,all languages available Russian,English
No offense, but, why are these trains so short?
maybe because there are much fewer people in Lithuania in comparison with India :D
@@niqolas Oh yeah... That makes sense.... Cool...

In New York our trains are about the same in car number. I don’t think these trains are necessarily “short” lol
I don't think Lithuanian trains can make songs.
NICE
