recently moved to a different city, which happens to be where I was born. The city I left was where I spent my entire 33 years from childhood to adulthood. Now, whenever I hear a certain song and descriptions of things like blue skies and mountains, it reminds me of my previous city and brings tears to my eyes. Even though the place where I spent my childhood and adulthood wasn't without its challenges, it's still a part of me and holds a special place in my heart.
