God almighty! I’ve been looking for this sound for so long, I think I’m sticking with Audix, thanks for demo
We purchased the DP7 kit for our percussion needs and are thrilled with the quality and value they have provided. Very satisfied, thank you Audix!
Like I said I would get Audix, just got DP7 yesterday 9/10/2020 from Andertons music UK, these mics are so well made, thanks Audix
those drums sound so gooey
cool. I haven't yet mic'ed my kit but looking into it in the future. cheers and thanks for the information, very handy indeed. Biggest Problem I have is I live in Australia and mic'ing kits with a desk or computer software is quite expensive. Thats the only reason why I haven't got into it just yet. At the moment I'm only using what my small camera can provide with audio, yeah it sux I know lol... not sure if you can help with pricing(regarding the difference in dollar value between our countries) or even how to get started with a kit mic'ing set up from scratch and especially how do I order this product from America, I mean I have nothing, no desk or software. cheers
Is that an armand ride 20" at the beginning?
Thanks for the video. I have the audix dp7 drum pack. Everything sounds really good except for my snare. It sounds thin. Do I need to mic the bottom too to get a better sound? Do u think it could be a phasing issue with another mic in the pack? I have the focusrite interface safire 40. I don't see anything on my focusrite virtual mixer about changing the phase on any of the mics. App any tips. Thanks
