So glad to hear you enjoyed this tutorial! That little looping trick is something I use often, so I love that you found it useful as well :) thanks for following along!
I really like how you used this noise to create such a beautiful pattern, mindblowing I'd like to share another loop technique that I use, mostly for the footages of smoke, fog, etc. It's a bit simpler than yours, but kinda has the same idea, if you didn't know about - may be you will find a use for it too Basically all you do is split your footage in half and overlay them on top of one another and trim your comp length also in half (if you had footage of 30 sec long, you will have two layers each 15 sec long and your comp will be 15 sec also) The top layer should begin from the cut point and the bottom one should end on the cut point. All you do after - is animating the top layer opacity. Just 2 keyframes - first frame of the comp is 100%, last frame is 0%. You will get a good looking loop for some abstract footage. I wish I could attach screenshots, but I hope I've described it in an understandable way
This is such a good approach to creating a loop! I wish I could pin this comment to the top - thank you so much for taking the time to share your technique. I'll definitely try this out!
