CHRIST CHURCH CATHEDRAL-Awesome Dublin Medieval Cathedral and Crypt!

The Christ Church Cathedral in Dublin, Ireland was our first stop after getting no sleep on a red-eye from JFK airport. I really wanted to see this beautiful medieval Romanesque and Gothic cathedral and crypt because for me, it represents true medieval Irish history-it's the oldest building in Dublin. The architecture brought me back hundreds of years and inside you can see the tomb of Strongbow, a medieval Norman Welsh warlord, and a crypt that features a beautiful collection of priceless silver and Ireland's first copy of the Magna Carta. This cathedral is definitely a must-see when you visit Dublin!

In the 1990's my class mates and I lifted off the stone covering of Strongbow's tomb and there is nothing in it.
