the game is so complex with details, just as your videos are so packed that I have to rewatch several times. I just want to play, but without sitting down and doing research for hours I may be missing out a lot. I'm literally researching more than I am playing, haha. Frustrating. I appreciate all your guides.
MMO's are just like that. I honestly think the best way to play is to accept mistakes and just play at your own pace. Most mistakes made early in game aren't that massive and you learn from those mistakes. Find an active alliance that can help you as questions arise and enjoy the game at your own pace ^_^
Hi, new people, this early on there is only one thing you want to keep in mind for "good" and "bad" capsules on gear. There's 3 weapon damages, melee, range, and technique. You don't need to add damage augments to your weapons at all if you don't want, but just keep in mind that augmenting a tech weapon with melee damage won't do anything for it. That's all. Have fun.
Very good video. The main thing to take away is to not be afraid to ask questions and try to do content with other players! This game is a lot easier to play along with people, and it's obviously more fun. Lot of great info to use here.
Just downloaded last night, PS4 player here! I appreciate the guides and hope I can come to enjoy this game. I'm mainly on FFXIV but I need another MMO sink and Phantasy Star has been on my radar. Glad to have these guides. Cheers!
Welcome! Take the game at your own pace, be prepared to make mistakes. Most importantly, find some friends or an alliance that is willing to help you. Questions will come to you left and right and a group of willing players to assist you is the greatest gift you can ask for~ Also join our discord, we can answer any questions you got (link is in the description of the video)
All this info definitely helps! I made some friends on pso2 who were already maxed out and asked them for help when i got stuck in the beginning and it was a huge help!!
I can't wait for the next video. I'm already level 27 by just doing the Retem's side quests and have a full set of 4* armor but some 5* equipment are starting to drop and I wonder if I should change it right now. My problem with this type of gaming is being afraid of commiting noob mistakes dealing with so much information. I appreciate the work you put making these videos!

As for being level 27 and wanting to go into 5 star gear, my suggestions would be: Schwarzest/Schwarzgarde/Schwarzrosso armor (level 31) - Best potency armors, good hp, good pp, no downsides except needing level 31 Kukuhroziat series weapon - Great stats and gives you additional stats when doing Geometric Labyrinth, our newest content. Greaga series weapon - Good weapon, gets extra power when fighting bosses. You should be able to find a cheap fixa attack 2/3 and use it until June with zero worries Tempesta/Lumiere - This is my suggestion if you're just looking for something a little stronger, both of the other two choices are a better option for the next month. But if you are simply trying to get some extra power without spending money, either of these elemental series will do you fine.

The 5 star weapon choices skyrocketed in prices by this time due to demand, is there any other suggestions in terms of weapon choices or where to farm them?
Why can I only find the Tempesta weapons and not the Lumiere weapons? I'm LVL 15. Also nice vid mate I hate learning new mmo's but you make if easy with these videos.
Also can I just continue to the next area with the free weapon they give us? Or should I farm some money to buy a Tempesta weapon? I'm 200k away from the cheapest one in the personal shop
The market on Thorn must suck because there's barely any 5 star weapons and most of them are above level 15, as im lvl 17. Game gave me 2 star +39 weapons that are better than 4 and 5 star weapons. Anything better is like 100k-1m+ lol
There IS a workaround to this. The problem is that NGS makes you download the previous game too. NGS itself is only about 30GB. There is a downloader called PSO2 Tweaker that is very trusted and it will bypass the base game PSO2 download. If you are interested in that there are plenty of guides on how to get that going

i did a yellow run trigger solo and didnt get the exp items, is there a box or something im supposed to do after defeating the last 2 enemies?
