I've always appreciated Foo Fighters - not only for their great music but for their sense of humour and ability to just have fun in the moment and not take themselves too seriously. This is next level. I couldn't love this band more for doing something like this and I suspect anyone who hates it, they would just give you the middle finger and laugh as a response.

Apparently disco has always had an influence on Dave Grohl (and why the hell not!!). In an interview with Pharrell Williams, Grohl says: “If you listen to Nevermind ... I pulled so much stuff from the Gap Band and Cameo and Tony Thompson [of the band Chic] on every one of those songs.” I love Dave Grohl. He's one of the good guys in life.

He’s original, you say he doesn’t have what it takes- but are you a Bee Gees fan? Most people wouldn’t admit to it before this year- I’ve never stopped being a fan of the Gibb family. I'm not sure which is more surprising: A) the revelation that the drum part of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was basically borrowed from The Gap Band's "You Dropped a Bomb on Me", or B) that only Dave Grohl could go from Nirvana to Foo Fighters to Queens of The Stone Age and half a dozen other joint projects... and then sell out venues with a Bee Gees cover band! I'm beginning to wonder if that role in "Pick of Destiny" wasn't actually some sort of type casting...
BTW, Dave, in the event you might be reading this... I may be doing my first studio recording soon, and you've made me think of doing some of my old Bee Gees favorites, most of which were during their pre-disco days - "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart?" and "Words" are the songs I always felt a deep connection to. While I can only wish, it would be an honor to record with you.

Ouch! That hurt my ears. I think they need to find their way to sing the Bee Gees songs in their own way rather than trying to emulate them. That's not gonna work. I've only heard one dude singing like the Bee Gees... Randy Berlin. But again, every artist should be doing their own thing instead of trying to be like someone else. Lots of fun though. Peace

Foo Fighters are great, but this sounds awful! It is great that they want to cover the legendary Bee Gees, but Foo Fighters should make their own versions of the songs in ways which fit their voices.

It is good to hear something new... I mean something old. I'm having fun but I'm not going to be a Disco stu... Just because of them.

No, even with the Foo Fighters, this song is irritating crap. And the falsetto.

I think they should've had a Disco ball come down for this. Unless there was one and I didn't see it.
